  1. I am going to be there regardless of what the weather is like. I know coming from Richmond Ky to the park on a day where it could be miserable sounds like a bad idea but I would not miss the excitement of opening day for anything.
  2. Looking up Action Park is worth the time it takes to Google it, nice article and if you search you can find some pretty interesting things around the web.
  3. It's the Enquirer. You're lucky, that's actually one of their better articles. There weren't any misspellings in it. After taking a social media class and publishing class I no doubt see why they make so many errors.
  4. Anyone else catch the error that you can take a right at the end of I-Street with the kids and go towards Little Bill's Giggle Coaster?
  5. Great article, those photos really brought back some memories of what I remembered about the park when I was younger. Thanks for sharing, great article and great info.
  6. I'm pretty sure that was only available for school groups and the like, not for individual guests. Thanks, I remember for my dad's company outing last year we got those and they really came in handy.
  7. Since we kind of got on the topic of food I am not going to stray off the beaten path to far here, but I was wondering where the option for the unlimited drink wristband is on the website or did they do away with that in general?
  8. Sad thing is, last year on opening day when they only had one side of The Racer operating, the line was probably getting close to that long. Pictures like that fascinate me, as I love looking at queue lines and I love old historical pictures of KI. Thanks for the share!
  9. Kings Island opening day, hopefully Holiday World and then my annual Cedar Point trip in August. I would love to get to Kings Dominion but I doubt my schedule or funds will allow me to get down there. Overall my main goal is to make this coaster season as eventful as last years was. Spending memories with new friends at the park, making new friends and treating people who have not enjoyed Kings Island from an enthusiast stand point to the enjoyment of a day at the Island that will last them a lifetime.
  10. Less than 2 weeks until the opening of my favorite place, school is almost over and summer is right around the corner. Hurry up April 28th!

  11. Probably my favorite picture so far Paul, thank you again for keeping this up to date and going. Hard to believe we have less than 2 weeks until KI opens for it's 40th.
  12. Went down there for Spring Break about a month ago and had one of the best times of my life. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge seem so small at times but you never run out of anything to do. Attractions I would strongly recommend. Chimney Tops hiking trail, Ober Gatlinburg, Smoky Mountain Knife Works, Bass Pro Shops, Downtown Gatlinburg, Bubba Gump Shrimp, of course Dollywood, Nascar Speed Park, and Tanger Outlet Malls just to name a few.
  13. Wow, that does not even look like the same area of the park, amazing how things change.
  14. I have been asking myself the same question for a while now, instant renewal last year was so convenient and so easy to use.
  15. Sadly I cannot view the rest of your pictures Ty, I look forward to seeing them if there is anyway you can get them back up and going.
  16. Great picture of I-Street! Love seeing these pictures.
  17. Diamondback for Maverick. Vortex for Raptor Firehawk for Volcano
  18. ^Oh how these Crypt jokes are never going to get old.
  19. I would have to say Delirium as a ride, no padding at all on the seats. As far as roller coasters go I really don't feel as any of them are THAT uncomfortable.
  20. Thank you for posting that. It is really nice to see a look at the park pricing from that point and time. I mean, 7.00 to enter the park, and a .50 parking charge. One could visit the park with a friend for 7.25, and I can imagine that the food prices were not that high either.
  21. Great campaign by the park, I will be sure to participate in this as much as I can. Excellent marketing strategy.
  22. Great photos Ty! Really enjoyed seeing them and like the others, let's keep em' coming!
  23. Occasional adult language is used.
  24. Great article Ronny. I am really looking forward to seeing how this new management re-opens the park and how they are going to do it. I had some fond memories of Kentucky Kingdom, I have not been there however since they added Greezed Lightnin' and closed down Hellavator (I reufuse to call it Superman). Should be interesting to watch.
  25. Loving the old photos of ride queue areas and the shots of King Cobra. Some shots from the older Paramount days would be really nice as well.
