Just think....if they left the ride just the way it is and Dippin' Dots took it over, they could give you a cup of their stuff with a bit of milk in it, send you on the ride, and at the end you'd have a really different kind of milk shake. What marketing this could be!

Everybody's got it wrong - when they tried to drop WindSeeker while it was spinning 30 mph at the top, it made the center column sink. Why does everyone insist it's Vortex? (of course, neither is sinking - but it makes for yet another great rumor!)

Just a quick question and a side note.... Have you ever been on a Disney monorail that had a flat tire? It's quite interesting!

I stopped at a rest area in I-75 North today, just north of Lima, Ohio, and there was a flat bed carrying bright white coaster track stopped there. Interesting.

This may sound silly, but I have heard tales of people seeing "images" and hearing "sounds" at or near the top of WindSeeker. Anybody else see or hear anything about this?

Maybe it was melted down to make rails for the fast pass line - to be installed in 2012!

Both Raptor & Mantis were built after the park closed for the season, however I remember the track for Mantis arrived ahead of time. You may recall that the Mill Race was remeoved to make way for Raptor whereas the area for Mantis only required a modification to the train's tracks.

I sat in the back of Diamondback and was not all that impressed - it was not as smooth as I thought it would be. The future will tell, but I am guessing that DB will get a lot rougher as the years go by - and how do you re-track a steel coaster? The Beast could be around forever - and will change, too, through the years - but at least it can be fixed if it gets to be too much for riders to endure.

So......what happens if one of those balls at CP turns out not to be a "regulation" beach ball - whatever that is - and the whiole stunt is null and void? Gues it's good for business (hee, hee)

I also thought of this.....I already paid my entrance fee to get into the park. Thousands of others will have too - and now we have to wait while others who paid more get to cut in front of us? We'll just got to a different park next time and spend our money there. Like I said before - when will it end? (or should I say WHERE will it end) It's also reminding me of Dr. Seuss' Sneetches - some have starz on tharz!

So for $50, you can go to the front of the line. Next, they'll sell a $100 pass to go to the front of the line before the others go to the front of the line. Then, they'll sell a $150 pass to go to the front..........

We should make a trade with Knoebles - our Son of Beast for their Flying Turns. The seem to have good results re-constructing coasters and King's Island could then still claim another woodie!

No, I haven't ridden it - I guess I expected a lot more. I'm really still ticked that DT gets such a bad rap - as do most of the other bobsled coasters - and now this comes along and we're supposed to hail it like Jesus' Second Coming. (of course, they should have never covered DT - it was fun the original way)

I found it quite boring - especially after all of the time it took to construct and all of the hype. Everyone pitches a bit** about Disaster Transport at Cedar Point and it is a lot better than this. Edit ------ What the heck - are they payting homage to Adventure Express with that last lift hill?
