Grumpy? Nope! We are over joyed we are getting a great ride from a park that cant take care of it and has a reputation for awful customer service and that it will come to a deserving home with a staff that knows what its doing. I think your the one thats grumpy that your more likely to see a housing development at GL than a new coaster there in the near future.

^I can confirm the thread hes speaking of was there. Its a shame, that fan site is run by kids and grumpy seasonal employees who think they know the ins and outs of Geauga Lake yet really have no idea what theyre talking about.

^The maintenance crews perform both morning and nightly sections on the ride and the operation crews for the day are specially trained to do their own checks, in the past there have been many sepearate maintenace personell seperated throughout different maintenace departments. Primarilly steel coaster and wood coaster maintenace. Each morning, members of each time are assinged to their rides to do a daily, thourough inspection.

Neon green track, believed to be that of the former Geauga Lake coaster X Flight, began arriving to a staging area in the parks parking lot. PKIC's eye in the sky took to the ground to grab some photos of the track arriving on site. The park has not confirmed whether this is track for X flight or whether the track in the lot will be going to the park or if it could be a staging area before going to another location. ^Exactly, all I said was the park has not announced ANYTHING yet, sure theres track there, but theres also a pipeline coaster thats been sitting in Six Flags America's lot for the past two years and they havent said what theyre doing with it. ^Getting around the law is not that simple, they USED to do that, and it was not a very popular option once the ADA laws were passed, remember the ADA laws were passed so that persons with dissabilities would be able to live and work in a more friendly enviroment that met their needs as well as the needs of others. Just because your in a wheel chair why should you be forced through some back hallway or kitchen to get to a service elevator that, yes I've been on, is not the cleanest thing in the world and empties into a little storage facility then out into a park back lot. Even if you dont care how clean the elvator is or whatever theres still the issue of a fire. If a fire breaks out in the kitchen, where it most likely would, elevator access is cut off, while the stairs are still fully accessible.

I think Spiegels right, it wouldnt surprise me if most, if not all, of those properties became condos particuarly Elitch Gardens prime location.

When the attendants at the front gate scan your pass your photo shows up on the screen in front of them. Hmmmm, maybe we should start the list of issues that this will present down the road. Honestly, does someone not evaluate these decisions before they're released? Whats so bad about the picture showing up on the LCD monitor instead of the pass? Just because KECO and their pal Linder didnt do it 20 years ago doesnt make it wrong.
