The Pepsi Python at Coney Island now is quite similar to a Zyklon.

"NOT REAL GUNFIRE! THAT WOULD BE CRAZY!"

Yesterday while I was working The Beast before my shift ended, I was checking lap bars on the unload side. I noticed a man with an amusing shirt that said "I survived Adventure Express!" and I thought it was hillarious. I joked around with him and his friends for a little bit before we sent them off on their way. The shirt looked homemade so I assumed he was a PKI enthusiast, I clocked out and left before his train returned so I didnt get to talk to him. He looked really framiliar and so did the people with him, I think I had seen them on the last IJST tour. Im posting this because I figured if he was an enthusiast he might post here or even be part of PKIC's staff. So doesnt anyone know who this guy was?

Where exactly was the coaster located originally? Anyone know what happened to it? RCDB says it was never moved from PKI so I'm guessing they tore it down for good.

What ride is overrated at kings island

Try riding SOB in the rain talk about unpleasent right there. Amen to that, but I think SOB is awesome, sure its rough, but there is no other wooden coaster on the face of this earth that has an inversion. No Cedar Fair, Disney, or Six Flags park can top that. -
I believe Togo actually had their main U.S. offices in Cincinnati

I wish they would still do that with the actors and the fights, but I bet it would be labeled "Pollitically Incorrect" (*cough* *couhg* bull crap *cough* *cough*). From what I've noticed while riding the train is that there are 2 sets of cars, a red and a green and 3 engines, a red one, green one, and a blue one.

^What proof do you have? Do you work at KI, and I'm going to give you two reasons to show that what you said was crap. 1)Old theming would be stored in a ware-house within the park because It could be re-used and to prevent theft. 2)If you were a KI employee and are telling the truth you wouldnt risk losing your job by revealing something like that. Not trying to be a jerk, just questioning you.

Im sure theres probably a lot of original wood, but not at major stress points on the ride.

^True, I was jsut saying as far as alying coaster goes I'd rather ride the Vekoma but I dont think they shouldve themed Tomb Raider to a flying rollercoaster. Like tombraiderty said, it would be better if they put it indoors andi t had some theming.

I think IJ:ST is over rated, its good but didnt live up to what they made it out to be. -
That was a terrible ride to theme to Tomb Raider, the only theming is the station and the entrance and the paint scheme is awful. That flying coaster can in no way compare to the Vekoma flying dutchman model.

Nothing in the world is totally safe. Hell, even the keyboard your typing on now is wearing down the joints in your fingers.
-
That picture of SOB was probably when they are constructing it, I wouldnt be worried about it not being safe now. Interesting find though.

Yeah definently apply online and if you go into HR for an interview...be prepared to wait.....no offense to the HR department...but they were slow when I got my job. But if you do get a job at KI, you will have a blast, I just started and it was great.

Enough with the flyers removal.......THEYRE NOT COMING BACK! Just be happy some kids in North Carolina are enjoying them and that they werent thrown in some junk heap along iwth the King Cobra track. Besides, NO ONE knows every reason why the flyers were removed.....maybe they were getting to cotly to maintain....maybe parts were getting hard to find for them....the park knows what its doing even if most of you guys dont agree with it. Id rather have a coaster anyday than some cars and a swinging bucket. The same thing with the tiques.....Im pretty sure the park didnt want to keep having to pay for gas for those things...and maybe that grass spot will host something new in 2007. But the flyers are gone, and wotn be coming back. Back on topic, a Racer removal isnt likely at all, why would they do that? What else would fit there? If anything they need to renovate it a little bit, paint it with its original paint scheme and make it look nicer.

I believe its the trains too, the trains are made by a completely different company. Why didnt they get PTC to do SOB too or is PTC out of business now?
-
That cant be right because it misses the whole target audience of PKI........families. PKI wants families to come in, it is a family park. They wouldnt make a hotel geared towards upper class people and their families.....it wouldnt be good profit........it will most likely be decently affordable for middle class families.
-
I dont think they will remove the cemetery.
-
It is on park property, it probably dates back to the farm that was on the land before it became KI.

Great Wolf Lodge Coming To PKI

We should increase our indoor water park by 10,000 feet jsut to out do Cedar Point..........again! -
If the park did something like that im sure they wouldnt runt he rides pass closing and wouldnt open them till the regular time, what they would probably do is give the lock in kids a tour of how things get cleaned up at night and how they prepare for tommorow, then in the morning they get to go wathc the mechanics set up and maybe get on a few rides early.

What error was that Coaster Rz?
