  1. The RCDB spelling is how it is on the sign at the park, per the pictures. http://rcdb.com/14022.htm#p=69985
  2. The irony of Facebook.. For those who don't use it, when you click a link that someone shared on Facebook, it pops up with some related stuff that "people also shared". This is what one got after clicking a link about the new fences. I captured this screenshot on my phone earlier...
  3. It hasn't really affected my game playing habits. I never do the midway games and only occasionally play arcade games (typically Skee-Ball or Ice Ball). I loaded up a card with $5 and played a few arcade games. I do agree that the point system is a bit annoying, though it does save the park money and might encourage people to play more since there aren't any tickets or receipts to lose/keep track of. It does take some of the fun out of it though - especially with most of the games still saying that you get tickets from them.
  4. I personally think a Wild Mouse coaster would be a great fit for Coney as well, especially since there aren't any others anywhere near here to my knowledge (the only one I can think of is the one at Beech Bend).
  5. The "Everyone pays kids' pricing" deal requires you to visit by Sunday. Also note that there is a $5.99 processing fee for each order.
  6. Witnesses are now reporting that the killer had visited the club numerous times before, and local radio station KISS 107 even says he had a gay dating profile... http://kiss107.iheart.com/onair/kristie-56301/orlando-shooter-a-regular-at-pulse-14810002/ http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/2016/06/13/pulse-patrons-mateen-drank-club-before/85852008/ This is getting stranger and stranger
  7. Duke Energy blames bad cable for Carowinds power outage: http://www.wbtv.com/story/32203069/duke-energy-blames-bad-cable-for-carowinds-power-outage
  8. Anyone up for a trip to Sweden? This looks amazing. 161-foot drop at an 83-degree angle Top speed of 70mph Also, from the park's website:
  9. Zoo officials later stated she climbed up the mesh and squeezed through an opening... http://fox13now.com/2016/06/08/hogle-zoo-explains-how-leopard-escaped-from-her-enclosure/ The fact that they initially stated they don't know how she got out is baffling - a jungle cat. In a tree outside the enclosure. How else would she get out except by climbing?
  10. You'll get used to the park layout pretty quickly and should have plenty of time to do everything in both Holiday World and Splashin' Safari in two days. Also note that the park is bigger than it looks, so be prepared for some walking - especially because Holiday World isn't as flat as KI.

  12. Some interesting thoughts on the reorganization plan here as well: http://clpjunction.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6658#6658
  13. That line is even funnier for those of us who have met you in person before
  14. It's an entertainment website owned by The Onion (though it's not a satirical news site). I'm really not surprised they used a headline like that.

  16. From greeter to driver in a week and a half? I find that hard to believe...
  17. Having the park closed most days during the busy summer months certainly won't help - especially with Waldameer just a short drive away.
  18. Odd move... Why move the VP/GM of KD to Charlotte and send someone from Charlotte to KD to replace her?
  19. They're both Arrow loopers... Close enough right?
  20. That's my point. $5 to ride the lazy river when nothing else is open. And they wonder why nobody was taking advantage of it. Sent from my LG G5 using Tapatalk
  21. Of course they're going to see limited use of the lazy river during the week. Who's going to come to the park just to ride the lazy river - especially when they likely have to pay to do so?
  22. Latest update from the park. CP will reopen tomorrow. Tickets and Fast Lane passes dated yesterday or today are good any other day at CP or today at KI and Michigan's Adventure. https://www.facebook.com/cedarpoint/posts/10153659829481463
  23. Seats aren't bad, and at least you don't get your ears boxed off like on Invertigo, but I certainly won't be riding it again. Sent from my LG G5 using Tapatalk
  24. T3 is now my least favorite Vekoma. I got stapled halfway through the ride. Sent from my LG G5 using Tapatalk
