There is no comparison.....Hanna-Barbera Land kicks Nickelodeon Central's sorry ass! Hanna-Barbera Land has 17 rides, whereas Nickelodeon Central only has 2. The rides at Hanna-Barbera Land cater from babies (such as Booboo's Baggage Claim) to adults (such as SDATHC), Nickelodeon Central's rides only cater from older child to adult. Hanna-Barbera Land has been part of Kings Island since its creation in 1972...Nickelodeon Central is a new area. My vote goes 1000% for Hanna-Barbera Land over Nickelodeon Central. Have a great day! Today Mrs. Chef and I took Baby Chef to PKI for the first time in his life because according to our pediatrician...he's now ready. He arrived at the park by 9:50 AM. First Mrs. Chef waited with Baby Chef in Festhaus for 25 minutes while I rode Adventure Express twice and The (Forwards) Racer once. Both rides were enjoyable, but I rode front seat in The Racer and got an awesome view of the track. Then we took Baby Chef to the exit of Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle. The 3 of us had our pictures taken with SCOOBY DOO and were videotaped with him as well. We posed in front of and inside of "The Mystery Machine". Next, Baby Chef needed to be fed and changed, which we did at the Lost Parents facility in H-B Land. Then we took Baby Chef to Quickdraw McGraw's Railroad.....Baby Chef's very first ride of his life. I rode in the train and held him while Mrs. Chef videotaped us. The entire time I yelled "Nino's first ride! Nino's first ride!" Then we walked around and went to the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad. We all rode it together - but Baby Chef slept. Thereafter Mrs. Chef and I enjoyed blueberry icecream from Huckleberry Hound's Dairy. Then it was time to change and feed Baby Chef again. Believe it or not, with all our walking and picture taking (plus the feedings and changings were time consuming).....4 hours passed. So, we then returned home. Mrs. Chef took the day off from work, left Chef Jr. with day care, and went to the glorious Media Preview Day. It didn't rain and thunder as predicted, but it was so cold that after 3 water rides....I called it quits for the day. The new water resort looks great, it was cool to meet Rob Champion (who played Crocodile Dundee at the event) and enjoy free food and drinks. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef

Today Mrs. Chef and I took a day off from work to attend PKI's Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay media preview event. We arrived by 9:30 AM and were two of the first people there. It was VERY COLD.....but at least it didn't rain and thunder like the weather predicted. The featured guest was Rob Champion, Paul Hogan's stunt double and sound alike for the Crocodile Dundee character. He arrived in a limosine at CDBB with 2 young ladies and made a speech. Mr. Champion looks remarkably like Paul Hogan. At the event, Mrs. Chef saw dignitaries including Craig Ross, Jeff Siebert, and Marnee Guttery. I showed them and everyone else pictures of Baby Chef. We also met up with Dan, Dane, and Ryan (Boddah) - the staff of PKIC. The 3 men looked like professional journalists running around with their cameras and tr-pods. Rides started at 10 AM. Mrs. Chef refused to get wet because it was so cold. I rode Tazmanian Typhoon twice and thought it was awesome. Then I took a brief swim in water that was supposed to be warm - but was cold. After that I got dressed and forgot about water rides for the day. Mrs. Chef and I then walked around and were impressed by CDBB. At 11:30 lunch and free drinks were served....so we enjoyed shrimp, chicken, and beef on the barbi, vegetables, pretzels, beer, wine, and dessert. After that we went to the main park and rode SDATHC twice. Mrs. Chef beat my score both times. Thereafter I rode The Beast and we then went home. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

I think it's very cool that PKI is in the company of Magic Kingdom. It's quite an honor.

I am in total agreement with Boddah. Coney Mall was established as a tribute to the great park that Cincinnati's Coney Island used to be and it houses Monster, Flying Eagles, and Scrambler from that park. Additionally, Coney Mall has traditional amusement park rides, such as The Racer and Dodgems. Coney Mall should stay the way it is. Also, International Street ought to be maintained as it is. The Eiffel Tower, Mandarin Cuisine, and LaRosa's do give it somewhat of an international flare. And personally, I think that PKI should make International Street MORE international. If anything should be changed to Hollywood Boulevard, it ought to be Paramount Action Zone that has Top Gun and Days of Thunder which are modeled after Paramount films....as well as Face/Off, Drop Zone, and Congo Falls which are named after Paramount films. Additionally, Paramount Action Zone has the traditional Hollywood water tower. Those are my thoughts on this matter. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

Ryan (Boddah) and I got to be in the show. Hence, it was great for the ladies in the audience that got to see us - the world's former most elligeble bachelor and his successor. Last year I took Mrs. Chef to the Blue Man Group concert at Coney Island's Riverbend. Their show was interesting...but not as cool as their regular shows in Vegas, Chicago, etc. Nevertheless, I'd welcome the Blue Man Group to PKI. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
