By all means, Coney Island should NOT BE UPDATED. It is a section of the park that is supposed to represenat traditional amusement parks in general and Cincinnati's Coney Island specifically. The Flying Eagles and all other rides from Coney Mall should stay. Additionally, I think that a ferris wheel should be added to enhance the traditional flare. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

Today I visited PKI with my friends Ryan and Nathan after taking both my wife and son to different doctors, cooking lunch and dinner for my wife, and doing house chores. The park was VERY crowded. We were there at least 5 hours and only managed to ride: Adventure Express (twice), the Eiffel Tower, The Beast, SDATHC, the backwards Racer, and Vortex. We did eat at Festhaus for dinner and watched the fireworks show at 10 PM. The fireworks were great. I enjoyed my visit to PKI, but really wishes that the lines were shorter. Have a great day! Can't help but agree with you there. You shouldn't have to sit in a certain seat to have an enjoyable ride experience. If you guys want to debate this more, please start a topic in the Battle Room. Anyway. I went up there for about two or so hours Saturday night with Italian Chef. It was extremely crowded at first, but in the last hour, it died down a lot. Fortunately, we were able to ride a lot of rides in that last hour. I also went Sunday and the lines were definitely better. If you have to choose, I'd choose Sundays until the park is open daily. Hey, in a little over 2 hours we managed to ride The Beast, The Racer, Delirium, the Eiffel Tower (my first time this year), Zephyr, and Adventure Express (2 rides on AE)! Hence, it was well worth my time - and I can't wait until my next visit to PKI! Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:

My dear sister visited me from NYC and she is very fearful of height and wouldn't get on ANY coaster with me. I then dragged her to Hanna-Barbera Land to ride The Beastie with me. Hey - it's a kiddie coaster and can't be that bad, right? She chickened out at the very last minute and left me alone to ride. I got p-ssed off and yelled cusses in Italian. Have a great weekend! Mr. Ross is doing an outstanding job of managing the park. However, he is probably 20 years Jeff's senior and will surely be promoted and/or retire within 20 years. Hence, in 20 years I hope to see Jeff as PKI's general manager. Whom should he hire as the marketing manager for the park? What about the food service manager for PKI? Any ideas? In my humble opinon, a Planet Hollywood would greatly enhance the movie atmosphere of PKI. However, it'd have to be open all year around to profit. Additionally, it'd have to be located adjacent to the park because PKI is closed during the off-season. Now, do I really think PKI will get a Planet Hollywood? No!
