  1. Those are great pics Dane! Though I'm not much of a potato chip fan, Mrs. Chef is. We'll have to sample The Chippery on our next visit. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  2. Tazmanian Typhoon all the way! Nothing beats the sensation of being flushed down a giant toilet bowl. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  3. Hi PKIDiana, Meeting you was my pleasure. I'm glad that PKIC is blessed to have such a beautiful and articulate lady such as yourself gracing it. And thank you for your kind words about my on. Please read my fan fiction and PKI-inspired recipes on this page. http://www.pkicentral.com/Parkinfo/ChefsRistorante/ Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  4. The Beach is adding one major new ride this year, Volcanic Panic, which is a water slide. Aside that, there are also a few small changes. To learn what's new at The Beach this year, please read the article below written by PKIC's most famous freelance travel writer. http://www.weeklycin.com/content/2004/04/0...er_thebeach.asp Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  5. I've been asked to do one of those surveys last year....but got nothing in return except for a smile.
  6. Tonight I visited PKI with Boddah (Ryan) and the park wasn't super-crowded. We rode Adventure Express 3 times, FoF, the (forwards) Racer, The Beast, the Flying Eagles, The Beastie, SDATHC, Rugrats Runaway Reptar, The Beastie, the Eiffel Tower, and saw the fireworks show. Plus we ate at Wings Diner. All that in 2.5 hours! It pays to go on a Thursday night. Since I have relatives coming this weekend and next weekend to meet my son (no one cares about Mrs. Chef and me anymore, just our baby), I won't be able to visit PKI again until July. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  7. I didn't notice anything different. Sorry.
  8. PHANTOM THEATER. It was the most awesome dark ride in the world outside of Disney. I wish they'd bring it back. Think they'll sell it elsewhere? Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  9. How was the filming? Were there any Japanese people present? I REALLY REALLY wish I could've been there. Please write a trip report. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  10. Thanks for the FYI. I'll look for it the next time I hot Barnes & Noble.
  11. At 5'5 I can say that the seatbelts do make me feel more secure on The Beast. I wish they'd add them to Drop Zone, Face/Off, and Vortex too. G'Day mates and sheilas, Italian Chef :chef:
  12. I want to make it, I really do. After all, I lived in Japan for 1 year, my wife is Japanese, and my son is half Japanese. However, I've already used up 5 of my vacation days this year because of the birth of my son and can't spare any more because my family and I are planning to visit Japan this year. I'll be with you in spirit. Have a great time at The Beast Filming! Charles Infosino aka Italian Chef :chef:
  13. Paramount Carowinds has a Flying Super Saturator and it looks very cool. Check out the video: http://www.carowinds.com/attractions_rides...ured.jsp?id=621 I hope that PKI gets one of these in either Nickelodeon Central or Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  14. A common and COMPLETELY UNTRUE rumor I often hear is that Paramount is interested in selling Paramount's Kings Island and the rest of Paramount's Parks' assets. If Paramount did sell PKI, I'd buy it if I were rich. But I'm not. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  15. I concur 100%. The Eiffel Tower is indeed a ride, though a mild one. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  16. I must concur with my colleague Mrs. G. There is no flat ride at PKI as thrilling and exciting as Delirium. I am especially fond of the times when I hang upside down on it. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  17. I hope that next year, we'll have a better show. My first choice is Graveyard Shift. However, I'd love to see an "Iron Chef" type show in which audience members are chosen to compete against PKI cooks with a secret ingredient. The judges can be audience members. And needless to say, I'd love to be a challenges. Allez Cuisine! Italian Chef :chef:
  18. I must say that I envy you students who can visit PKI on weekdays while I am slaving away at work.
  19. This is a very tough poll. However, I voted for Rivertown because it is home to my favorite ride at PKI.....The Beast! Also, it was White Water Canyon and the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad, which Mrs. Chef loves. Last weekend, Mrs. Chef, Baby Chef, and I rode KIAMVRR together and had a nice time. And I must praise TR:TR for getting me on national TV, introducing me to one of my good friends (Boddah), and having awesome theming. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  20. I visited Lotte World Theme Park in South Korea back in 1999 and was impressed by their lazer show at the end of the night. It was really cool! Perhaps Fusiondude can describe it after he visits Lotte World this year. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  21. I would offer more Australian food and drink items....namely vegemite (an Auzzie vegetable spread) and Auzzie Shiraz wine. G'Day Mates and Sheilas, Crocodile Italian Chef :chef:
  22. WOW Dane! Those pictures rock. Thanks for sharing. I can't wait wait to take my family to the Nickelodeon Parade. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  23. I agree with Fusiondude, that Magic of the Movies isn't the best show PKI ever offered. I still say bring back GRAVEYARD SHIFT. It rocked the house. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  24. Does anyone have any idea how much Rugrats Runaway Reptar cost? My guess is between 1 and 2 million, but I really have no idea. If it isn't too expensive, perhaps PKI should build a similar one that sprays water at its riders in CDBB. Just a thought. Please tell me your estimate of how much a coaster like this would cost. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  25. Should Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay get a suspended coaster that sprays water on the riders?
