  1. Will PKI bring back Winterfest??? Believe it when I see it.
  2. Maybe New Year's Eve would be a better time.
  3. I doubt that PKI is haunted because if it was, PKI's would use it as a marketing tool to attract guests excited by the para-normal. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  4. I'm sure that in due time, the owners of PKIC will reveal all the details including prices. Now they are, to my knowledge, in the planning stages. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  5. The article is good, better than most people your age. However, I'd say re-work it again and again until you are 100% happy with it. For example, mention the new eateries Mandarin Cuisine and Bubba Gump. No one is perfect and there's nothing wrong with updating one's work. George Lucas made special edition re-makes of all 3 Star Wars movies and I read a rumor that a second revision may be on the way. Keep up the good work and don't get discouraged! Sincerely, Italian Chef
  6. I can't wait until PKI re-opens. However, I will have to miss the first 6 weeks of operation in case my son is born early. After he's born and the doctor says he's healthy enough...I will take him to PKI to learn to ride Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad, Scooby Doo and the Haunted Mansion, the Eiffel Tower, and Grand Carousel. Yes, he'll be a new born and probably asleep during all the rides while laying in my arms....but he'll get his first taste of PKI. I hope that as he grows up, he will love PKI as much as I do.

I read Monkeyman's article and was greatly impressed by it - especially for his age. It was grammatically flawless - and only needed to be tweeked up in style. By the time he is my age, he'll probably have had written more books and articles than me. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  8. I think that in the first 2 years Boomerang Bay will attract more people than WaterWorks because it'll be a "NEW" water resort. However, after the novelty wears off, I think that the crowds will diminish and Boomerang Bay will attract as many people as WaterWorks. Have a great weekend! Italian Chef

I voted no way because I think the name "Beast" is over-used. First off I think that The Beastie should still be named Scooby Doo because it's in H-B Land. The more the name "Beast" is used, the less value it has. What's next? The Steel Beast? Daughter of Beast? Wife of Beast? It gets silly after a while. That's my opinion. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  10. I'm sad to read that Arrow is going out of/went out of business. This is the first time I have read of it. I'd like to get Boddah's opinions as he is an ardent admirer of Arrow. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  11. I think it's a great idea. I'm willing to spend my money for the extra benefits. Additionally, I can get you copies of The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island at cost. A special group that would meet together at the park would almost be like ACE (which I am a member of). PKIC is a great place and I would like to help it in any way possible. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:

Monkeyman, It'll be a pleasure to help you. Have a great day! Italian Chef

Monkeyman, As perhaps the only person on this site to get paid for writing, I STRONGLY encourage you to attempt this endeavor. The experience it'll give you may serve you well in your future. And if you need a professional to proof read your work, free of charge, you can e-mail me. I'd be happy to assist you. I wish you the best of luck! Sincerely, Italian Chef
  14. How about we brake the categories down? My favorite wooden coaster is The Beast. My favorite steel coaster is Flight of Fear. My favorite junior or children's coaster os Rugrats Runaway Reptar. My favorite themed coaster is Adventure Express. My favorite large flat ride is Delirium. My favorite small flat ride is Scrambler. My favorite pay flat ride is Sling Shot. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  15. When I ride in the middle car, I'm nice and insulated. Therefore I have a smooth and enjoyable ride. However, the front and back cars are a tad bit rough. A little tweeking should improve the overall smoothness of SOB.
  16. I doubt that it'll be very different from the original program. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  17. If memory serves me correct, the webmaster's wife had a child - and thereafter he lacked the time and/or money to keep the site going. Hence, it expired and was replaced by an adult entertainment site. Have a great day! Italian Chef
  18. Perhaps a raffle can help. If people buy say a $5 ticket that can win neat stuff like a free autographed copy of The Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island (which I can donate); a free PKIC t-shirt, and perhaps a copy of the video shot on 11/2. If enough people buy raffle tickets, it can help the site out. Just a thought. Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  19. I attended the 11/2 enthusiast tour and remember that Mr. Siebert stated that certain rides would be re-named. Does anyone remember any of the name changes? Sincerely, Italian Chef :chef:
  20. In addition to watching PKI videos and dining on Thai & Chinese cuisine...we'll be celebrating Boddah's birthday. Additionally, I think that Dan may or may not discuss his ideas for expanding PKIC. It should be a fun day. Therefore, I hope that people can make it. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
  21. Sunday, January 18th is the PKIC meeting at Siam Orchid in Alexandria, KY. Perhaps we can discuss this more there. I am more than willing to chip into this site, as are many other folks. Like most of you my resources are limited (with a baby on the way), but every little bit helps. On a side note, I'm glad that Mrs. G now knows what I mean by "dig in them jeans and pull out them greens." Have a groovy weekend! Italian Chef :chef:
  22. RV dealer? I don't get it. Can you please elaborate?
