No Q is the scientist in all of the James Bond movies. Q - Star Trek Q-James Bond Queue Turnstile Switchback ...and yes I did just quote wikipedia... Oh wow -- from here on out on this site, we will refer to turn styles as baffle gates!!

Ok -- the official word: The park says that since it's closed to the public for the next several weeks they are under the assumption that the jackets will be sold out by then. If you want one, I'd hop on it now.. there are only limited quantities and limited sizes!!
-
I'm not saying there WILL be another KIC Day.. however IF there is another one, which sounds best to you? Please note that you can choose more than one option.
-
I'll find out....
-
Tomb Raider will be back in action for 2008. Unfortunately, they need a replacement part which will take all season to get. The jackets are discounted because they need to move all of the merch that has the "P" word on it, and this is kind of a big undertaking.
-
I've never heard anyone call switchbacks turnstiles before. I've never heard anyone call queues switchbacks either. If you look a the terms 'switchback' and 'turnstyle' in old railroad talk, they're both technically wrong, however I think 'turnstyle' is a more commonly accepted term for queues.
-
No, but I think it's one of the really nice leather ones. Not unlike a high school varsity jacket.
-
Typically Friday is a better day to go than Saturday.

Kings Island has two jackets available at a special discounted price. There are two different jackets available. One is the Son of Beast jacket with the original loop design in the logo. Waterpark - So whats changed in the last 10 years?
BoddaH1994 replied to Cormaster's topic in Kings Island
It's a lot different now. The racing slides were removed and the Coolangatta Racers were installed. Plus a new funnel-attraction called Tazmania Typhoon was installed on the south end of the waterpark. This was all in 2003 when Water Works was rethemed to an Australian theme: Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay. In the late 90s they added a body boarding ride and a gigantic wave pool. Click here to go to the photo gallery and see photos of Boomerang Bay. -
That's a shame. Does it really make a big difference? BTW, that's my number 1 steel.
-
Don't worry about the Maxx Pass Plus if you don't have one already.
-
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I have these figures sitting in front of me, but I'm pretty sure that a lot of you guys terribly underestimate the popularity of several rides.

What is Kings Island REALLY going to get?
BoddaH1994 replied to familyguyfun1's topic in Coming Attractions
That'd be my guess too. -
Just know that if you purchase a 2008 pass, it will be used for 2008 and 2008 only and will not include Hallo-Haunt 2007 or 2008. It may be wise to just purchase next season. Opting to renew your 2007 to a 2008 pass now will/may void the 2007 pass. Remember... new ownership, different methods!!!! Ask the right questions when purchasing... I can 100% assure you that purchasing a 2008 pass will NOT void your 2007 pass, however a 2008 pass will not be valid until the 2008 season.

2008 Cedar Point Season Pass Program
BoddaH1994 replied to The Interpreter's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
^ I'd study that post if I were you guys... it's not dead on to KI's plan, but it's close. Magic 8 Ball says that some things in the above post isn't accurate to Kings Island. Don't worry, the info will be out very very soon, and you guys will be pleased. -
That attraction will not be returning for the 2007 event. Halloween Haunt is FREE with park admission this year, however WILL be an upcharge next year. How they will handle Halloween Haunt as an upcharge next year is a decision that has yet to be made. Likely they will be open from 10-5, close, then Halloween Haunt will be from 7 to 1am, however that is NOT the official word.
