There is a red dotted line on the park map, I think that may be the parade route that you're describing.

What new film will the Paramount FX Theater offer?
BoddaH1994 replied to italianchef's topic in Coming Attractions
According to the signs that are up at the FX Theatre right now, they're keeping the same ones as last year, but that could change. -
Sure it's a ride! Just think of it as Drop Zone without OTSRs and a much slower descent.

I've been going up to the park and taking pics of Taz since it was a "baby". Let me tell you, it looks big, it looks exciting. If you guys haven't been to the park yet, you'll notice it quickly as you get on Kings Island Dr.

According to the park map, there is going to be a new restaraunt on I-Street but it doesn't specify where. Does anyone have any info on either the location or the type of food they'll serve?

Interesting concept. I'd like to see glass floors on the elevators. Same concept as the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario.

It DID NOT valley! How many times have me, Drew, Sparky, and god knows who else said that's physically impossible! Though SOB was closed all day, and from what I have heard it may not be open tomorrow - at least the first half of the day. Actually, it's entirely possible for it to valley. Who knows what kind of outside forces could make the train stop. Did it valley today? I've heard it did, but who knows...

As you obviously know, we have launched v.2 and are still working out several bugs. A problem that some of our users have is that they are still getting the red, white, and blue colors in the backrounds. Personally, if I delete my cookies and look at the forums, I get the new ones, but as soon as I log in, I get the old ones.. does anyone else have that problem? Also, when I go to pki-central.com (with the dash), I get a messed up skin of v.1... any problems with that either? Ryan

Yeah, I've heard that it's new elevators from several people as well. Last Saturday, they had the door propped open and were working in there. I don't know why every time a ride is closed, you guys think it's something terrible like the tower is going to fall or something.

The only place that I know of that gives it out is Best Buy.

CIN Weekly is actually a newspaper/magazine kind of like City Beat. I think it's free but I'm not sure. The link above is for the online version.

Vortex is still there. I rode it Saturday. It's not gone in 04. If any more evidence of the "sinking" theory surfaces, we'll start a new topic, but this is turning into a rumor mill.. Closing.. Ryan

First of all, welcome to our web site! Second of all, make sure you come to one of our PKIC meeting days. It hasn't failed to be a good time yet! Ryan PKIC Staff

Yeah, it was a great time. Our group consisted of me, Dane, Dan, Dirty Steve, and the Rickster.

Very good idea. The park just wouldn't be the same without Old Coney and Rivertown, but it would be an awesome transition to theme Oktoberfest like Hollywood Blvd. so you walk through that until you hit AZ, which is supposed to be like a movie set anyway.

That might refer to rides like WWC and Congo, but I'm not entirely sure. There is a distinct possibility that some rides will still be going through the final stages of rehab and will not be open. It could also just refer to the fact that the new Paramount Theatre show will not be open until the real opening day. I'm willing to say that there will be enough rides and attractions opened to make it worth your trip up there, though.

Well, free with a small service charge.

Drop Zone first followed by Delirium. I'm gonna roll up there with Dirty Steve and he was in the Air Force last summer and never got to ride Deli, poor kid. I think he's in for a pleasant surprise.

Baby pics are coming soon. Funny story about how I found out. I was at Hooters living the life that Charles had just given up when I got a voicmail from him. He went on for about a minute and a half about how he couldn't go to the park Sunday but would be able to go next weekend. It wasn't until the last 10 seconds that he told me why. lol THAT is a true PKI fan.

According to the PKI News Letter, the show will open on opening day. I'm sure that implies that it won't be open for the preview days. Look at the bright side, it took them until late May to get Spellbound rollin'.

Keep it nice kids, we're all friends here.

That defines the width and height of each image.. and its universal. So, when the image is put in, it is resized to 240 x 208.. its unfortunate they used the old pictures.... but... i'm sure it will be fixed in the near future. If you don't define the size of the image, but you define the size of the cell block, the image will be truncated to that size. That's how I make the thumbnail images for the BB updates on here.

I have my doubts about TR:TR v.2, but pretty much everything else mentioned in this thread has been confirmed.

Baby's born, issue is resolved. Check out the PKIC news section if you would like to comment further. Ryan

As the media director of PKI-Central.com, I have the fortunate responsibility of informing all of you that Charles Infosino (aka Italian Chef) and his wife Yukari have given birth to their first born child, a son named Antonino Infosino! If you don't know who Charles is, you don't come around here very often. Charles is the author of the Unofficial Guidebook to Paramount's Kings Island, one of the main posters here on PKIC, and an all around cool guy. So, if you run into Charles at one of our meeting days in the next few weeks, make sure to congratulate him! Regards, Ryan PKIC Media Director :chef:
