A coaster does not have to be REAL record breaking to be a great ride (i.e. El Toro, Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Maverick, DB, etc.) And if SoB is taken down, do not expect anything to take it's place til 2015 at the earliest.

While I do agree that CF lacks on overall theming (but, they are also not in the theme park business), the theming for Planet Snoopy & Camp Snoopy at CP is quite fantastic. I would expect at least the same results for KI.

Those magnets are not adjustable unless they are removed. Chances are, the track was damp/ wet which made the train faster and you didn't notice the magnets as much.

Saturdays during Halloweekends are actually busier than most Saturdays in July and August. It is nuts. Now Sundays during Halloweekends, that is the time to go, with the exception of Columbus Day weekend.

Who besides a KI fanatic is really going to notice wrong pictures or vague descriptions? Minor web site innaccuracies will not take away from the overall park experience. Now the radio ad and URL, that does need to be taken care of. Why not leave the shows on the site so when people visit the site in the off-season, they understand that the park does have shows?

I suggest that the park just open the doors and let everyone in for free, that way they can't squeeze anyone anymore. The lines will be unbearable, and we won't be able to enjoy it like we do now. But hey, it will be free! Nope. No sarcasm here.

^ Not necessarily. Settling out of court does not admit any type of guilt. And once a case is settled, it cannot be re-filed. And in this particular case, KI did not deny her injury; they questioned the severity of it. So to answer your question, no, the outcome of this case will not have bering on future cases.

I would think the biggest reason to wait would be money. Deconstruction costs will not be small, and I highly doubt CF has that cost in their 2010 budget.

They said they'd make a decision after the season's out, but that still doesn't mean any kind of announcement's coming soon. It's very unlikely you'll hear anything until AT LEAST the start of the new year. ^ You are right. The park has ZERO motivation to announce any decision on SoB right now. Why? Because why drum up more attention on SoB than it has already received in the last week due to the lawsuit and settlement? I would say news on SoB will be non-existant till close to opening day 2010.

Now that the move has officially been announced, I wonder what the lines will be like this weekend? Because we all know what a real "people mover" DD is. I can remember when DD was rather new and waiting in lines of almost 2 hours.

Currently, Demon Drop at Cedar Point, Torre do Terror, at Beto Carrero World, Brazil, Hollywood Tower, at Movie Studios Park, Italy, and those at Toshimean and Central Park in Japan are the only remaining Intamin first generation Freefall rides in operation that I know of. Anyone else have more info? As far as that area being used for a wood coaster, it would look great there. But, CP has had issues with their neighbors (those $1,000,000+ homes north of the parking lot) complaining about the noise in years' past. The noise complaints go back as far as Avalanche Run. I hope that would not have an influence on their decision.
