Reminder Tower closes tomorrow and stays closed until at LEAST Monday!! p.s. I work both days all day. Sat first half day= tower/ carousel; second half day = train. Sun all day = tower/ carousel; yay!!

My own, Tower, you can see EVERYTHING, although it's not real exicting, the breeze and sun are wonderful, and I can be nosy on every ride, every area, every associate, and who doesn't want to watch a gorgeous sunset from tower every night???? Or the formation of a rain storm miles away?

My theory on TRTR, and i have ALWAYS had this theory, is that the ride theming is so unique and cheap that it would be easy to tear it all down, and rebuild the theming something different- ie: new ride = new theming/ story. Basically that's all they did with PT/SDATHC/Enchanted Voyage only on a much larger scale. Ripping down the stuff and constructing new, without really changing things is a good way of investment on the business side of things. And I can really see Paramount doing it too.

If you don't know just go to the tower, my crew will glady escort you, or tell you where it's at....it happens all the time, cause all the people at the front gate tell the Gold passers and others to get maps from the tower and the WOW tickets at the tower....I can assist those with maps, but they dont let me touch the WOW tickets. Go to the tower, Its to the right "down the little slope, take a right, across from guess your weight, is a little yellow booth with purple flags on top, they are in there."

Those things aren't thick enough to come even close to holding an elevator!!

If you bring in a CHILL MATE cup from McDonalds (which is like a large and bigger sized drink) you can get, I believe, it's $8 off the price of admission.

Guys, Guys, Guys, give the people some time.....I mean, everything is not always completely perfect when the park opens new stuff......I mean every season, we open with lots of stuff out of place, and not complete....I'm sure chippery is the same way....especially considering they have PILES of stuff in the stock room behind them, the bakery and SDTHC....

Just remember Dian, Zurich, Switzerland.. Zurich. LOL, yea. Although I spent little time in the elevator yesterday, cause I was soooo tired from that long shift.

Keep trying, I'm there what seems to be 24/7 now. If you come for extended play, I'm on a double shift, so I'll be in the park 8:30 am til about 1:30 am tomorrow morning....

The height minimums and maximums are set by the ride manufacturers, NOT PKI. We don't really have any control over it. At least that's what we've been told.

I work on the tower, I saw the performance from the top, looking down. Was okay, nothing spectacular.

LOL, the RVT town sups could personally deliver them in about 2 weeks, when they all go out to see our former (recently promoted to PGA's BB) manager, Jess Naderman!

Look I dont want to get snotty and harp on everyone's tune, but it is a ride, it has some complicated evac and emergency procedures, something the guests don't know about, as far as what to do in certain situations. Because of that, and my aforementioned rule, I consider it a ride, and nothing makes it worse, then people denying it is....

Like I've said before: My standard definition of a ride at PKI, no matter how mild, is anytime a guest moves without their own free will... you don't press the p button, you don't know the emergency procedures etc.... That's my definition, and it fits every ride in the rides pool that I know of except Water Maze.

I would never say never! PKI has been known to do some outlandish stuff!

The TR stunt show by the tower last year drew a huge crowd, and it was actually decent, not the best show, but I at least bothered watching. And I loved getting jolted every day by the pyrotechnics.....so much that one day I was getting my water glass, and it startled me, and I showered myself, an associate and a guest with my H2O!
