Special Deal on PKI Season Passes
PKI_Diana replied to Dane's topic in Kings Island Central Newsroom
Don't they know that Americans already have enough debt problems to include this too. Ayayayaya Sometimes, I think I'm the only one that sees lots more into this...imagine the interest the credit company gets when people overcharge, and are late with payments. And for those of you out there, there are people in this country that pay $100 for a pizza, because they don't make their credit payments.... -
Here's a hint for employees... If you go to the slide show, take the long way to the festhaus!! I did it last year, to view whether or not my new elevator had been completed yet... And no, security didn't say anything.
-
Just wait until the ride op law becomes 18+. You all might think it will never come.... but I'm sure it's on its way, even if it doesn't go into law until 2010.
-
I'm fairly positive you're wrong. PKI has more injuries than we think anyhow, because lawsuits against the park are settled all the time.... It is the way of business.
-
They have a larger amount of injuries though....

Everything but A ) Sling Shot B ) The parking lot tram (cause employees walk) C ) Wipeout Beach, or whatever the surfing thingy in CDBB is now called.
-
They also put up with a lot more chemicals and a lot more disguisting stuff in the restrooms... I know, I'm rather tight with most of the Eco sups...

-KCKC: I loved riding up in the tree tops -Getting a funnelcake and hot chocolate at the end of the night, and going out to our car and sitting on the hood with my family watching the fireworks from there. -Sitting on what is now the coney skyline patio, which used to be the lunch basket patio, and hearing the story of how my parents met. Yes, they were a PKI romance. -Stuffing paper towels in my shoes to make me tall enough to ride The Beast. -Playing that dumb guess my weight game, when the dude actually got it right. -The awed look on my best friend's face upon seeing the launch the first time we rode FOF. -In high school, I had a season pass every year, and so did 4 of friends. The last day of class was always let out at 12 noon, so we'd drive up to KI and spend the last day of "class" / start of our summer with each other doing crazy stuff. I think that's about all I can remember right this instant, without dragging out my photo album.

If they made it a driving school... then they could re-incorporate the Antique cars....

I have classes to focus on; I need to time to strengthen my relationships with people especially 2: a ) my bf b ) my mother; I also need to spend some time with my family. Not to mention I start student teaching for the first time ever January 3. And taking classes simultaneously.

standing beneath it: Where's the Eiffel Tower?

I hibernate. Now, this winter I'll begin student teaching in January, but of course, it's not for pay.

I was the employee in the IJ shirt with the Save the Flyers button gotten from Dane when he pinned me at Tower.

2004 Top Moments: --Seeing the brand new elevators for the first time. --My co-supervisor Katrina's last day- work, then BB, then dinner / drinks for over 4 hours at BW3s. --Last moments together before Jessica was promoted to PGA. --Finding someone I'm completely crazy about, and still am completely crazy about --Riding Skyflyer for the first time ever. --Riding Drop Zone with Brad, with Karen watching. --Riding Taz Typhoon with Ashley, Kat and Janet. --The last Beast ride of the season, with all the ACERS and PKICers; rocked! --The last Beast employee ride of the season. --Being Officer Spaeth's answering machine at the tower. --Everyone learning that I jump at the slightest thing(s), and then testing this theory out about 2 times everyday. --Riding The Beast at night for the first time, last car, last seat, last ride (but not on the last ride of the season, just for that night). Man, this season has been the best season in the three years I worked at the park. Hopefully, with any luck, next season will be even BETTER!

OOOOOOHHHH! He was in the rides office! I misread that! Maybe they are going to buy a ride from PKI or sell one to PKI (hopefully). Or possibly, they were just trying to get some tips for their new ride next year. I can't remember if its an Intamin Gyro Swing or a Huss Giant Frisbee. But either way, its a ride PKI has a lot of experience with! Craig Ross isn't in Rides! Shessh. Ross is the GM of the entire park. You people need to just stop jumping to conclusions. The park isn't going to be sold, just because someone from Cedar Fair is there. I hate to tell you, Disney comes to the park too.... Are you gonna say we're being bought by them now too???!!!

How many gallons does the Rivertown Lake hold?
PKI_Diana replied to zoomzoom's topic in Kings Island
--Why is the limit on the tower elevator 6125 lbs? What happens if we put in 6126 lbs? --What's the average speed of a spit wad falling from the tower? --How far will paper travel if dropped from the tower (I know this one).? --How many flowers have to be planted to make the flower clock? --What's the average circulation of the royal fountains? --How many parking spaces are in the parking lot (including GP, Gold pass, and employees)? Sorry, couldn't resist. -

Well the last day of the season can be summed up in about one word: BITTERSWEET! Was an okay work day, got everything I needed done accomplished. As far as after: Great sales Good weather, a tad chilly GREAT company. Rode the last ride of The Beast with everyone (Adam, Dane, Ryan, Bill, Karen, James, Charles and like 500 other people I can't name!) Good time had by all! Had meetings, then was left at the park, because my ride forgot me...but it was okay in the end. I got home, a lil late, but home nonetheless. HERE'S TO THE NEW SEASON: ANTICIPATION!!
