  1. OSTR- Over the head restraints
  2. I also noticed that there are 2 red cars and no white cars, but I'm not sure if that second red car is part of the train or just sitting on the track. If you look the first 2 cars are attached but the 3rd one actually isn't attached and just sitting a little behind the other 2 cars, so maybe its not part of that train.
  3. ^This is true, but he also had links that were removed that probably showed the IJ:ST trains which he probably wasn't supposed to post. So I'd say he's probably credible.
  4. ^That would be nice because even though that picture is nice the glare is bad, I'm sure you could take a lot better picture.
  5. Ha, I guess SOB isn't safe. I don't really have a problem with the ride, I mean it is rough but still, I don't think it's as bad as they make it seem. The worst that's ever happened to me on the ride is it busted my lip, but that was just as much my fault as anything else. Then again after reading some of the reports on other places the ratings seem pretty harsh. 85% of people said they don't think TTD is safe. They also said to not ride Ghost Rider, one of the best wood coasters in the world. What kind of people do they poll, 70 year olds?
  6. I was looking through Coasterbuzz and I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen this picture before, I found it interesting. It's the first time I've ever seen all of The Beast in one picture. I think it's a cool picture even though there is bad glare. Hopefully some of you haven't seen it before and find it interesting, it gives you a great idea of how large The Beast actually is. Beast Picture
  7. From what I've heard they have the helicopter on the property but apparently they aren't ready to install it yet.
  8. From these pictures and others I think IJ:ST will be a lot more fun then everyone first expected.
  9. ^Yea that bank did kind of remind me of the Millenium Force bank, but it also kind of reminded me of these new coasters designed by Ingenieur Büro Stengel which are like extreme wild mouse coasters that also have wild banks. IJ:ST kind of reminds me a little bit of the Ingenieur Büro Stengel coasters that I have really wanted to ride Pics of the Ingenieur Büro Stengel ride Stengel has also designed coasters with B&M, Intamin, and others. He has worked on projects such as TTD, Scream, Titan, Storm Runner, Colossos, SOB, MF, Volcano, Incredible Hulk, and well basically every rollercoaster ever. Not to mention designing the first modern loop.
  10. ^Ben I think everyone knew they were for IJ:ST but most were in denial, I mean when you think about it there's really no other coaster it could have been. I'm glad to see its not pushing back opening though.
  11. ^The pics are dated March 3rd, so that would make them 4 days old.
  12. Why is there a picture of a B&M invert on the side of the page in the media center?
  13. If there's an article it means the cars were in the fire. They wouldn't have an article about them saying "oh their okay" because not most people know about the fire so they wouldn't be concerned. The only reason there is an article is because they must have been destroyed, there's no other reason to have an article.
  14. They are working at an amazing pace on it. I keep on getting more and more excited for this ride the more I see it. I think this will be an amazing ride.
  15. The progress on IJ:ST looks very very nice almost all of the track appears to be in place and almost all the structure for the themeing and such also seems to be in place. They are working at an amazing pace and I can't wait to ride this coaster, it looks very cool.
  16. ^Too bad because from everyone who's ridden it I've heard it's an amazing coaster. On my only trip to PKD I didn't have the chance to ride it which was quite disappointing.
  17. Sweet, I love Graeters there's one two blocks from my house which I frequent. I have never had better ice cream then Graeters.
  18. ^Wow, an insider that is a full time employee. I'm assuming though that showing pictures and stuff like that might be against your contract and possibly get you fired.
  19. Delirium Guy, you were lucky with the wood coasters at PKD. I haven't been for a while but man Hurler was extremely rough, almost to the point of challenging SOB. Now I agree Grizzly is a great coaster but it too can be quite rough at times and even when it is smooth I don't think it's nearly as good as Beast. Now between Rebel Yell and Racer Rebel Yell is better from what I remember because its not as rough as Racer.
  20. ^Braveheart, haha and thats Paramount owned.
  21. I was just wondering if anyone knows how they both have large mountains and PKI dosen't. Did PKI have the option, but opt not to due to cost or what. I was just wondering because the mountains seem cool and you could build a sweet ride on one like PKD did.
  22. My favorite ride for thrills was 007, I love James Bond and the ride was sweet. Now my favorite ride for all around ride experience was Days of Thunder. What I mean by this is I loved how it used to give me money every ride. I mean how can you beat a ride that pays you, too bad they added that stupid thing warning people about their change in its last couple years. I never did get as much money after that.
  23. I think the main reason is cost, think about it, unless they use the land by FOF they have to clear all the trees and level land or whatever plus build paths back their and then if its far enough away you have to build restrooms, benches, places to eat, etc. So really I think its the price issue.
  24. ^Very true and its stupid because they do have tons of land. I agree with you they need to stop taking out rides and expand on all of their empry land.
  25. ^I have to agree it would be interesting to see what someone else would do with the park, but hopefully they would be different in a good way.
