Again..... execution of the process is key. They need scareactors roaming the house....if there were any there, I didn't sense them. Can easily be fixed with creatures that glow in the dark, or light up etc. The one thing (won't say for it to remain a mystery for a while) was lit well, but not a surpise. More sounds, except for a droning soundtrack would be cool..... for instance hissing snakes, or scratchy insect sounds, or growling sounds. There was no surprise to speak of in the house.

Also the groups were narrowed down to 6/7 people. The lines would move ok as long as the leader keeps the process going. There were times when the line outside dragged and other times the line sprinted.

Just got out.... it was a three out of five. So much potential for scares ... we were given a rope and all of us felt out way along the wall. I lead the group and got lost one time. It was disorienting and It would have been extra creepy totally alone, otherwise....it was ok. I wouldn't wait 1.5 hours for it next time. Add more props and feely stuff. Only saw/sensed one scareactor. I would do it again with a short line.

Im in line right now and it is moving quickly. Line is long and crowd is massively huge!!! Im pretty impressed with the park decorations so far too! Hmmm maybe this year will finally impress me....so far I'm impressed.... not bad.....not bad at all!

It's mob mentality and it's happening everywhere. It happened several months ago on Fountain Square and spilled over into Government Square. It's happened at malls,fairs and sports venues. All it takes is a look or a shove and the hormones take over. As I recall, it happened in the Paramount years in Action Zone during a summer DJ rave. It could and has happened in queue lines at parks. There is a noticeable lack of compassion or empathy among part of this generation and I would be surprised if there weren't even some badge of courage attached to these gang attacks. I don't see a foreseeable solution except a change in culture which could take many years.

Shouldn't Corn Stalkers be considered a maize? I really wish they would offer Skeleton Key on it's own. I've been able to do every maze that I've wanted waiting in the lines. It would be fun to do the Skeleton Key attractions just once for say $15 dollars or maybe an endless Skeleton Key for $25.

I'm guessing that they are testing the Fun TV Haunt overlay to ensure all broadcasts are in sync. The blue lights look cool dont they? Probably lighting some notoriously dark areas for Haunt as well.

Actually, Busch and Universal both knock KIs Haunt out of the water. KI needs edgier, more elaborate themed houses. KI needs to earn my vote, and so far the last few years have been....meh. I hope Blackout is spectacular and a change of direction for the Haunt!

Just as underwhelming as the Miss Universe pageant.
