  1. It's as aggressive and smooth as voyage within the first year or so of retraking [emoji14] But not as fatiguing
  2. Im predicting giga on the 50th anniversary. No logical reason aside from it being the most appropriate for the occasion.. I would be surprised for anything else. The high station of SOB is perfect for a giga since B&m (the now likely candidate) likes to end their gigas fairly far off the ground... I agree though that coney mall towards Dinos makes sense... but I think a high thrill flat would make more sense than to close DA and rip up all the pathways they have now. I think if they close Dinos, they will try to find a new use that lets the pathways stay. Kis 50th in 2021. Im waiting: p
  3. I hope FOF runs like that this season as well! I did ride it, I THOUGHT it was towards the last half, but it must not've been because I wasn't so lucky to catch that experience hah
  4. But it seems like the ride wasnt originally inteded to alwaays stop. The track banks almost completely sideways out of the breakrun. I think it was designes to only stop if the next block wasn't clear.. Anyone able to vouch how FOF used to run if it ever simply trimmed through the MCBR? Ive heard Kings Dominion doesn't fully stop you either
  5. A ride like Banshee? So like Raptor? Or Montu? Raptors ride is still well paced and forceful after the "speed killing" MCBR... Personally I feel like Diamondback feels sluggish after the MCBR. MCBRs are fine unless they don't quickly pick up a good pace (not speed) if they completely stop AND dont quickly pick up speed... looking at you FOF then they are kinda lame... but just kinda [emoji14] Some rides you might actually love having a MCBR (i.e. Vortex for riders that are not me)
  6. I just feel like I'm gonna have to take a whirl on The Legend to even out the unequal left turns on MT - For some reason I really notice if a coaster turns one direction disproportionately to the other way.
  7. Thank you for this! I've never seen pictures if King Cobra from a perspective in Action Zone facing the tower or a wide shot of the entrance. My only memories were from sitting outside the Adventure Express enteance too so... lol it was cool to finally see
  8. Should be noted GCI has new seats now. Less depressable, so less like a pillow.... but they say its actually more comfy... so we shall see. Timberliners, I personally have not ridden in one. I've heard people dislike them, and people like them *shrug*
  9. Idk that it was ever announced but I would check back here to get updates when they're given out: Kings Island SP (@KingsIslandSP): https://twitter.com/KingsIslandSP?s=09
  10. I still think the line will still be around 4-5 hours long. We will also be having a lot of mid-thrill level riders out that weren't tall enough for Banshee. (not those same specific kids)
  11. Yes I was a big fan of having the magic show there too.. i wish there would've been more inventive tricks mixed in with the standard kinds though
  12. Concerning the leds on the loops.. it would be amazing if we could have trigger start when the train passes and cause a stream of rainbow lights going around the double loops so it looks like the train lights it up. It could light up slightly in front of the train on the spine facing the park
  13. I just know Im most likely not gonna be riding MT on opening day
  14. I imagine MysticTimbers will have to be the first I ride or I'll be waiting a little extra long to ride anything at all [emoji4] Hopefully I'll ride before the surprise is out and openly talked about
  15. I did once! I rode the green plunge slide. It was okay. I was hoping to get a dropping sensation. But no one does it like Drop Tower..... except for the Xscream at Waldameer (and other like Drop Towers) [emoji14]TropicalPlunge wasn't worth the 40 min i waited for it. I wouldn't want to wait more than 10 or 15 for those things to be worth the wait. ~~~~~ What do we think of this btw?
  16. It's like the off-season having just started almost!
  17. Yea I've considered that too~ the track could still move, but not be a freefall
  18. It'll probably similar to the amount of clearance that Cobra's Curse gives their train. It'll look close, but it'll be fine
  19. Yeah. I dont think that Friday would be a season pass preview night either. If I remember correctly.. 2014 the media night was the week leading to the park opening. Edit- it definitely was. TPR's video with the reverse POV was published on April 17 and KI opened on April 18 in 2014
  20. Maybe they could stay on the train tracks. Or walk along the new access road that leads from the train shed
