Sorry, I was considering Flight deck as an inverted coaster in my last post. And inverted coaster, to me, was because the track is inverted from normal coasters.. gotta get out of that habit. Three... hanging coasters, as the GP would say.
Secondson, you're post made me think this seriously is a B&M invert. With my last post thinking the lift would go in that direction and then you drawing the drop swooping like that. The Montu prediction also makes sense kinda. Then I looked up this:
hmmm.... looks oddly familiar with the drop footers.
I do, however, find it weird to have the parks only inverting coasters all in one area if this is an invert. (Not counting flying ace's aerial chase.)
Old news.
The green track at the Ohio manufacturing plant is probably not relevant to Kings Island, so it'd be advisable to just throw that idea out the window.
Is it another Mega Coaster? Let's not forget Cedar Fair was maladroit enough to build two B&M Mega Coasters back-to-back in Canada's Wonderland.... so anything is possible with this companies inane thought process....
Forgive the large picture, I couldn't save it and crop it down to show just the shack.
It looks like the footers to the left of where you have the station drawn would be a lift, and then I started thinking that was a weird angle as it's headed straight to Adventure Express. You think they could use more of the land that used to be occupied by King Cobra?? Like this:
That'd also explain the footers by Sling Shot.
yeah, I started searching after I posted that, originally thinking glow in the dark paint didn't exist that was meant to endure weather.. found some but goodness, it's expensive!
I miss the ambition that Paramount had with the park year after year. Now things ended up (over time) to not work out so well, but I really liked how they pushed the envelope often.
^^ swinging inverted coasters aren't exactly abundant anyways. It's not a.. milestone type of attraction like a first steel coaster or only inverting coaster etc.
That would solve it, but like most anything, it would take some time. I have often thought the same thing; simply, there aren't any other attractions or food stands on the trip. Because you definitely walk longer distances to get to a ride in the back of the park.. but you wouldn't notice the distance as much since you can easily ride something else or get distracted by taking in the park ambiance.
