^^ swinging inverted coasters aren't exactly abundant anyways. It's not a.. milestone type of attraction like a first steel coaster or only inverting coaster etc.

My bet would be on a change in webcam placement.

That would solve it, but like most anything, it would take some time. I have often thought the same thing; simply, there aren't any other attractions or food stands on the trip. Because you definitely walk longer distances to get to a ride in the back of the park.. but you wouldn't notice the distance as much since you can easily ride something else or get distracted by taking in the park ambiance.

I think Kings Island is just in a transitional stage and it's in the process of becoming great. There were a lot of rides that needed to be done away with and areas that need attention, and I think they're just gonna tackle everything one step at a time based on a priority-need basis.

I'm surprised not many people have gone into the new haunt where crypt is.. All I will say is that it is worth a wait, if you have to. It is my new favorite at the park. Followed up by Carnevil

I am confused. I have been on a Flight of Fear tour. As of 2012, they do not offer Flight of Fear tours. Doesn't mean they couldn't do one. They can do what they want;.

^^ I agree, but it doesn't really matter what it's called at the end of the day. At least it can't be taken out of context. My only complaint with the new water park is mainly how instead of adding a new path, they basically just moved one. (not literally) The path by the old lazy river entrance is blocked off and now if I'm in that corner of the park, it's just a little bit of a nuisance to get to the back end of the water park.

What is Colossus? According to the rankings it's not even in the top. See here. Small explanation as to why the speed isn't listed. Shenanigans was called!

I would still consider it a wooden coaster personally.

I don't mind seat belts. They don't really get in the way, all they do is make starting up take more time. What I don't appreciate are the "head rests" on the wooden coaster, it's not necessary, and it dampens your view. On a launched coaster, it's more understandable IMHO But they ran fine before the head rests.. and many wooden coasters today run fine without them!

Not that I have any reason to believe, but I don't see flight deck leaving. It runs just fine and it's a very fun ride. I think the tree removal may have to do with some sort of expansion more than a removal of FD.

I always like to imagine if BLST took verbolten's technology of a drop track where the second launch is. That'd require a redesign of the second half, but it was a nice thought, to me. ^^ But I think a bit of an expansion will take place and a steel coaster will take SOB's place. Though, I would love a nice woodie, get someone good at it though.

Hmm.. Well, I am going to apply to work at KI this fall, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about auditions for hot blooded. Would the Aug 3rd, 4th, & 5th interviews be the place to audition for that? (or any other possible halloween shows) Or is it strictly scare-actors?

What could possibly go wrong?

I've found the term, "pull-down lap bar" to be less confusing. All lap bars are pull down...no? Hmm.. 'over-the-head lap bar' ?
