I think the only thing in common between Maverick and IJST are the trains, and the fact both are marketed toward families. Maverick will be a very intense high thrill ride.
-
Oh I know its not crap - alot of people like it. I leave the park when the Fearfest stuff starts. Like back when I worked there - on nights I had to work, and take a lunch break during my closing shift - I would pack a lunch and eat it in the train storage shed instead of having to walk to the employee cafeteria and deal with the Fearfest stuff.
-
It kind of stinks though. That means that really - Kings Island is done for the year. During October it will be all about all that Fear Fest crap - and when its over - the park is closed till next April (or May???). It was nice to have that last non fearfest weekend.

PKIC Survivor returns?

You got further than that. I think you made it to the final 4. You and Tom managed to convince Legend Rider to vote your way and break up Alien Seed and my alliance. Then after that - it was some really hard work on my part - and alot of luck! -
PKIC Survivor returns?

I think I will sit out on this one and enjoy the game as a spectator. But let me tell you - it can be LOADS of fun. It is a great way to overcome the offseason blues - and overall it is just great. I highly recommend it. It does take time though - like you need to be online for challenges, and you need to be able to communicate somehow with your team - like IM or whatever. But it is so much fun. Good luck to everyone who plays in this one. I can't wait to see it begin! And good luck to you Jeff Probst Jr! You will do an excellent job as always! -

Son of Beast shatters all records - and sometimes its riders! But I will always it! -
Which is why Media Night is also known as "Dry Run".

Thats weird - there are no seams between boards. What is it - like an injection molded block of wood dust and plastic or something? And to celebrate the awesomeness of Maverick - I created an animated GIF avatar for it! The old West was never this wild! -

So what world records does it hold? At one time it held the record for steepest drop on a wood coaster - but that got taken away long before Voyage was even close to being finished. -

I heard they moved it because of theming. Like for legal reasons they cant have Scooby Doo in a Nickelodeon themed area. Don't know if thats true though. -
The websites are made by some company out in California. They are Flash based and very slopily put together. They don't hold a candle to Cedar Fair's sites.

I don't believe it is widescreen - but the director's unrivaled genius can be seen in the great shots, and the quality of the editing! It is far better than any of those Cedar Point commercials disguised as Discovery Channel programs. I don't have the ability to copy DVDs - besides I don't think the person who originally gave it to me would be at all amused.

I have The Beast 25th anniversary Special Edition DVD.
-
Actually I would consider it more of a souped up Intamin version of the Gerstlauer Eurofighter - similar to what Dollywood is getting for 2007.

Is that Target? If it is - its old skool.
-
I read somewhere it cost about 3.5 million Candian dollars - so its definately cheap.
-
There hasn't been any discussion about this in a while. Is it still going to happen? I'm all stoked for it. Also I was wondering you said it would probably cost around 200 bucks. Is that with or without a Maxx pass?

Now you just need to take your dogs to Strickers grove so they can ride the Tornado. Picture of dog riding Tornado Roller Coaster at Strickers Grove

Like the whole argument is rediculous. Deliriums restraints are pneumatic. That is why you hear the hiss when the ride dispatches, and the restraints give you a little hug. That is the air nozzle retracting, and the restraints falling under their weight. There is no hydraulic fluid. The ride is powered by electric motors at the top. No hydraulic fluid there either. Now I don't know where "hydrolic" fluid comes from. Heck I've never even heard of it! You probably think that water dripping from Top Thrill Dragsters launch is hydraulic fluid. And the whole thing that makes it more preposterous is the fact you said it was spewing hyraulic fluid onto guests - and then 20 minutes later it reopened. If it was somehow spewing hydraulic fluid it would be down for a long time. Probably even longer because maintenence would be trying to figure where the hydraulic fluid is even coming from!

The Future of Geauga Lake

When I went to Holiday World this year - there was a 35 minute line to buy an ice cream. It started pouring down rain and EVERYBODY went to Kringles Cafe. It was so packed in there. I took out my umbrella - I always have one with me just in case - and walked around the park taking some pictures of people cowering under any roof they can find - such as the gazebo at the Paul Reveres entrance, or the patio in front of Rough Riders.
