Wait till after you ride it to say its not extreme. I think it will be intense, and that high speed ending will be very extreme. That third inversion will be sooo good.

I have only been on one SLC - and I loved it. It was also one that people gripe alot about. T2.

Yeah well said Combat. The restraints on Delirium are controlled pneumatically. Assuming there is any "hydraulic fluid" anywhere on the gondola, and I doubt there is, but am not certain - if it was spraying on guests they would shut the entire ride down. Maybe it was someone who liked maXair better - and they decided to pee on the ride.

I figured it was Ralph's. I wanted to be sure before I said - you are wrong about it getting a new name. It has always been Ralph's. Ralph Malph's Milkshakes. It was Ralph's last year. It is a character from Happy Days I believe. If it had been rethemed by Cedar Fair - it would no longer be Ralph's.

Their admission price right now is very reasonable. They could probably get away with raising it 5 bucks or so. What I really like is how the child and senior admission is only 1/4 of regular admission. At Kings Island it is over half.

Thats just it. Millennium Force and Dragster went for records. This doesn't. But it looks intense and FUN. Voyage at Holiday World has zero world records - and it knocks your socks off! So you don't have to be the biggest fastest or longest to be a great ride. Now IJST tried to accomplish this - except they didn't deliver the effects they promised at first. Now most of the general public didn't even know about these effects - so they didn't miss them - and that's fine. The problem is that besides the missing effects - the ride isn't intense (except for the helix), it isn't all that exciting, and the only fun parts of it are theme related - like the cop car dodge and helicopter scene. And even that gets ruined when for whatever reason - like the crew not working fast enough - the train sets up in the helicopter scene - and can't go into the tunnel till the block ahead is clear.

I will admit I am one of the reasons that they changed the post counting thing - but it makes perfect sense. There was just one "Other Topics" forum - and there was a thread in there called the Arrow Game. It became like 80 pages long just after a week or so. Myself - as well as several other of the "regulars" posted alot in it. Between that, the Question and Answer game and the Coaster Alphabet game - probably 300 posts got added to my score. If they totally recounted all posts so that posts in those forums didn't count, I would probably be at 1700 or so. Some other people - who won't really frequent this site anymore - would be cut in half or even down to a third! Speaking of which - we should start some more forum games this offseason. Those are fun. Dane closed the topics when the season rolled around saying we should enjoy the park since it is open - but hey - can we start them back up when it closes?

What is the Core? Is it a movie? Yeah it almost did as bad as Day After Tomorrow. And both were unrealistic and liberal talking points. At least The Core had some big actors in it.Aaron Eckhart. Hilary Swank. Delroy Lindo. Some real A Listers there.

Maverick is MUCH MUCH more intense than IJST could ever have been - even if they didn't half ass it.

Hmm I wonder what was said about me. Yes the staff runs an excellent forum here - with great discussion. And they are devoted to staying on top of whats going on at the park and keeping in touch with them.

This looks like such an awesome ride! A perfect addition to America's Rockin Roller Coast! Its like KI did IJST but crapped out on it - and CP said - look we'll show you how its done. Thrilling enough for the thrillseekers - but not too over the top for the family. Put that together with great theming and you really have a winner! Ride on!

I have worked several midnight close all days. What sucks is the early open midnight close all day. Thats right. 8:15am till 12:30-1:00 am. That can be 16-17 hours! Working on Coney Mall I never had to do that - unlike some members of Action Zone crews such as Delirium! ^

Did they get new trains or what? Steel Dragon looks like a giant Magnum Xl 200. Like it doesn't even look tall. But it is. I would love to ride it.

So people can buy their on ride videos or so that ride operators can make sure people are obeying the rules? Most ACErs do not POV - and most of the people who do POV are not in ACE.
