  1. Never knew I met you. They wouldn't let me print Fire-Beast-OF FEAR on my name tag. I tried, but did not succeed. So that might be the reason I appeared as my disguise known as Duncan.
  2. Best seat on any coaster i've ever ridden. So much airtime and glass smooth compared to the seat directly behind it.
  3. Fanny Pack. But seriously, when I worked at The Racer most people filled into the front of the station so if someone went into 5-2 I knew they know their stuff and a coaster shirt would be a good indicator too. I often would ask if they are enthusiasts and then what club or site they belonged to. I met oldiesman, Beastie1980, ohiocolts, and stashua123 this way just from operating dual at the back of The Racer station.
  4. Talking my little brother to the park is one of my favorite things to do, though yours seems to be more brave than mine. Don may seem intimidating but he's a Kings Island nut just like all of us and if you have a question he has an answer. He's a very approachable guy If you come up and have a question.
  5. The better question is who still uses a photo studio anymore?
  6. I do too. When they run and when you position your legs just right for comfort.
  7. Anti-rollbacks. It did plenty of rolling back during testing and cold months. On opening day 2004 It rolled back in between the loop and helix 2.
  8. You guys are seeming to make the generalization that YoungStud really likes Intamins so therefore he is okay with fatalities on amusement rides.
  9. For me, B&M's have very few points against Intamin. BUT THE ROAR! When I walk past Mantis and hear that ear deafening scream that ride makes at only 60 MPH and across the Midway Millennium Force has that fwish at 93 MPH if you try to listen. Really hope Banshee has a Mantis-like roar appropriate for the ride. Diamondback was quite the let down in the roar category.
  10. Vortex, Not a single bad angle. KIMVRR and TTD is a close second and third and any ride in the fall except Flight of Fear.
  11. Wood: The Racer Steel: Magnum Overall: Racer All time overall: Son of Beast As you can tell I like pain and extreme airtime. Although it does not say it on this list Intamin is my favorite manufacturer with Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Maverick, Wicked Twister, El Toro, and Ride of Steel come in close second in their respective category. That also says I enjoy unreliable death machines.
  12. Usually they give you one visit during the previous years season for a next years pass. Edit: I got Terpy'd.
  13. Mantis is one of my favorite B&M's for its force but a ride could go terribly wrong if seated incorrectly. But Kat, give Racer one last chance! I get that comment told to me a lot when I tell them my favorite ride is The Racer.
  14. Being bored I was checking out some Historical amusement park footage and came across this- A few things I noticed was that CP didn't put much effort into the switch from Banshee to Mantis (not just in the animation) and The similarities to this animation and KI's Banshee. Just thought it would be nice to share this for comparisons and historical searching.
  15. Despite what's gone down between the two of us throughout the summer, I hope you stay a little bit longer after Banshee's hype does down. I actually like a lot of the non-Intamin posts you make, and I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on other topics. And I like your Intamin posts on top of that.
  16. One of the things I hate doing at parks is carrying around my wallet and card. If I only have the fast pay band, car keys, and platinum pass It would be much safer than carrying around my ID and credit card. This will be especially good at CP when GK, MF, TTD, and more all have to pay for bins.
  17. Does anyone have a time of the year where you lose interest in KIC and Coasters in general? For me it's after Christmas and all the way through mid- March. I also am pretty disconnected during haunt due to Marching Band. But I usually check the site most every day of the year as opposed to having a tab dedicated to KIC during the summer.
  18. He has openly expressed that he would like Flying Eagles to return under his own opinion and he's still with the park.
  19. YoungStud, I had a similar fear early on but now knowing that the ride is going to reach top speed later in the ride It could be B&M's step in a better direction for the more forceful rides it used to make.
  20. Even though the park doesn't advertize it any more, Many people in the GP still think it hold all of Its original records just from word of mouth.
  21. ^ The ride time is station to station. Such as Diamondback is not 3 minutes from station to brake run.
  22. The prime rib was excellent!
  23. I've never seen someone so happy about a ride going down. And I was VERY happy!
  24. I hope the tomb stones will be a part of the ride and not just in the renderings.
  25. They had double ride Tuesdays in certain rows only and were the Fast Lane line is now there used to be a gold pass line were you would show the greeter your pass wait in a shorter line on Italian Job in its opening season.
