I rode Mystery Mine and Thunderhead in the sleet a couple years ago. I was the only person crazy enough to be on Mystery Mine at the time.

Removing the footings would depend on what the future use of the land said footing resides. Seems pointless to dig them up if its sitting overgrown under a towering roller coaster, but if an all new area is to be built on the land you can't have them in the way of attractions and infrastructure.

This is sad news for Nashville. It sounded like a cool project. Hopefully someone else will see this as an opportunity and go forward with an amusement park for the area.

I was never a fan of the backwards side. made me dizzy. The Racer was my first adult sized coaster (maybe first period) and I can remember being terrified of it. The first drop seemed so much bigger and more intense back then. It was several years before I even wanted to get on a coaster again and even more before I really started to enjoy them.

I noticed my coasterfanatics signature item was not loading, appears that site is officially dead. http://www.networkso...terfanatics.com Their domain registration expired at 1:07 this morning. I wouldn't call it "dead" yet though, as the same thing happened one year ago and it was renewed after a day or two. I have not been able to log into Coasterfanatics under my original account for a long time because my password some how got messed up and when I request the reset I don't get the email...I did create a new account just so I could update my coaster count for my signature but they have not added any new coasters on there in a couple years. Is there another site that has a similar coaster count for forum signatures?

What was left uncovered this year? I went Saturday night for Haunt so I did not see what was visible during the day. I was just going on the the fact that International Street and Coney Mall looked less frightening than in previous years.

I actually thought the park looked more tasteful this year. Considering there are kid friendly attractions in Coney Mall and Soak City, toning down the gore during daytime hours on the way to both of those areas is not a bad idea.

I do not get along well b&M inverts...so I would much rather see something else.

How was it brought down?
