This view is sure going to be different next year.

It wasn't in a net, but I saw the same empty lip balm container on the roof of Beast's brake shed as I rode up the lift hill for many, many years. What made me actually think to look for it that many times over that many seasons really makes me wonder about myself!

I'm on the move the whole time. Rather than criss-crossing the park, I like to just take stuff as I come to it, including rides, games, arcades, dining, and dinosaurs!

I've always been so impressed with the kids that work the rides at Kings Island, and seeing the pic of her in The Racer queue really hits home. My prayers are with her family and friends.

Let's see…I've visited the park every year from '92 to '12, except for '99, '01 and '02 (what was I thinking??)…so that's 18 seasons with probably 1-2 visits a season X 2 rides a visit on average…probably 50 or 60 times; seems like a lot more than that, though.

Here are some average speeds in order from highest to lowest: FoF: 30.7 mph BLST: 20.9 mph Beast: 20.1 mph DB: 20 mph Racer: 19.4 mph Vortex: 17.3 mph AE: 14.4 mph FD: 14.3 mph WE: 10.2 mph FAAC: 8.5 mph

I think an average speed stat could be interesting (Diamondback's would be 20 mph).

In a way I wish it was like that now. Of course no one forced me to watch and read it on the Internet.

I know some questions that could probably drive Don insane: 1. When is (fill in the blank defunct attraction) going to return? 2. When is Winterfest returning? 3. When will the trams come back? 4. Where is Son of Beast? (You know there will still be people asking it next summer)
