2011 was great for me! Four different days spent in the park this summer!

Wow, I'm going to have to try the WWC night ride...that sounds great. Hank's Back Porch Bar...maybe the most relaxing place in the park. Congo Falls...I mean, can you imagine Kings Island going into that much detail on a new water ride? It's kind of like going back in time for me...lush landscaping and all the wood... Kings Island Theatre....while I am impressed with the ice shows they have in there, it seems like that place is under-utilized.

The pot's been overflowing for years, what's a little stirring going to hurt?

For me, I'm just glad KI is open, and the fog is neat.... For the park, not all the rides are open, they put up some haunted attractions, and they have huge crowds...some pretty easy math right there.

I've noticed lately that anytime I smell hot pavement, or especially greasy food and hot pavement at the same time, it puts me right at KI (before long, it's going to have to be hot pavers, though!).

Very sorry for your loss. I also want to say that, sincerely, I think those are the best Kings Island photos I have ever had the privilege to look at. Thank you.

Somehow the normal Kings Island rules don't apply to HH. During the summer, I visit on cloudless, rainless, lightly crowded days. During Halloween Haunt, it's actually fun when it's cold, crowded, and even rainy. Festhaus after midnight is like a homeless shelter (although it might be a little different with the PSB in there). People just trying to warm up and get something hot to eat or drink. Starbucks is always busy, too. Overall it's a great atmosphere.

Wow, I have not been to HH since opening night '09. It looks like it they have added a lot since then.

Whoops, now I see that the post above mine wasn't talking about SOB...sorry for the confusion. Now that I'm thinking about that first ride on SOB, I remember being in line and looking at how massive the thing was...and having second thoughts. I was on a date, so I didn't want to look bad, so I rode it...lol.

I rode it on June 23, 2000 and don't remember thinking it was extremely rough...didn't ride it for a few years after that. I rode it, I believe, in 2005 and thought it was too rough, too rough to ride again. Tried it in 2007 when it was re-opened, and swore I'd never ride it again.

With Kings Island being the only "major" park that I've ever been to, I must be a little ignorant. I think that Kings Island's kids' area, on its own, would make a good amusement park.
