  1. I could easily see Crypt living a few years as a haunt with the ride removed but the queue still in place.
  2. And that would be why I quit. Best decision I ever made.
  3. Maybe that's why the park shouldn't be open until 1AM. You have NO LIFE outside of KI if you work there during Haunt while you're in school.
  4. KI's credit card system goes down all the time- time to break out the kachunkers!
  5. I did notice that the "service fee" is zero, which leads me to believe that at one point that may have been $5 and the printing fee was zero.
  6. ...that KI charges $5 for the privilege to print your tickets at home?
  7. I see two problems: whenever the system goes down, the park stops making money... even if it's only for a little while (every time something was down for a "little while" at KI it was always like 30min...) it might make people decide that they don't need to get that drink anyway, so the park will lose revenue on that. Also, since their main marketing push is "you won't lose your cash", what if you lose the card...? Oh, and if you don't spend all the money on it, can you get a refund for the remaining balance? I see no problem with this if it's an option, but it's stupid to require it.
  8. In before "KI promotes violence".
  9. How absolutely tragic. I think I may cry.
  10. http://cfmarketplaces.com/ "Copyright 2007" Derp.
  11. So what happens when the system goes down?
  12. That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of a park doing. Yes, let's make it more difficult for the guests to spend money in the park. That's a good idea!
  13. That's because the food employees have very little knowledge of the food that they sell.
  14. Aren't the hot dogs at Jukebox Diner all beef? I can't remember anymore.
  15. I'm surprised they haven't stopped letting passholders reenter. I'm fairly sure that it'd be easy with the system they use...
  16. For some reason, I doubt this event attracts the best clientele to the park...
  17. Countdown until OTSRs are installed...
  18. I always found it ironic that people who asked for no ice in a Coke probably would have gotten more soda if they had just gotten ice. I usually tried to be nice and get rid of at least some of the foam, but when it's busy we really don't have the extra time to spend doing that. Was, but I got some sense and quit a few weeks ago. Life's been a lot better since...
  19. I believe corporate has probably vetoed Haunt ideas before...
  20. If Kings Island management didn't want the ride's future to be hinted at, that prop wouldn't be there. Just sayin'.
  21. Bring profitable attractions to all the parks. What a bad idea. Better get the memo out to Disney, a lot of their parks have those castle things...
  22. And you get a full 20 oz. of liquid instead of 8 oz. of liquid and 12 oz. of ice. The old red and white cups were actually 22oz, if you looked at the inner rim of the bottom it said 22oz, anyway. I feel like this is a good time to point out: if you ask for "no ice", you're going to get a lot of foam, because the ice makes the drink foam up less (don't ask me why) and the person getting the drink isn't going to spend lots of extra time making sure you're not getting a lot of foam, especially with Coke, which foams by far the most.
