  1. ^Gatekeeper has no meaning behind it. Banshee was changed because there was an underlining death reference with it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banshee I still wish they brought the Banshee name back, though.
  2. I understood that, Shaggy. I was just making sure you knew Gatekeeper wasn't going into DD's place. Which you do know.
  3. They'll look like Ed Alonzo? The ride will be filled with sand so it will not roar. The picnic shelters will be re-aranged but will still be there.
  4. For those going to the announcement, I believe the first 200 people get free t shirts with the ride logo on them. Have fun.
  5. I think there comes a point when a person has been on enough coasters to be able to fairly judge a ride by the animation. With that said, I think it will be a fun coaster. Will it be ultra exciting and mind blowing? Not really.
  6. Actually, that used to be one of the few (if not the only) way to get the the Point. That was a long long time ago.
  7. I believe the last ride we had no idea about was Skyhawk. I am very thankful they plan to plant grass and trees instead of having it all in the parking lot. It looks beautiful.
  8. So when are you inviting me over for a cookout? ^I, too, LOVE their Mac and Cheese. What I want to do sometime is to go to one of those BBQ places that they show during the Alabama football games. Those places look nuts. 3 hour waits to just get in the door? I need to try it sometime.
  9. This ride is way more reliable than any Intamin creation.
  10. I said I liked City BBQ in another thread earlier this year and got attacked saying I don't know what good food is. Glad to see I am not alone.
  11. After riding Wild Eagle, I would say no. It didn't do much for me. Just average.
  12. Even White Water Canyon operated without seatbelts for a long time. That one blows my mind, because I have seen multiple times people almost fall out even with seatbelts.
  13. Disaster Transport is going to the scrap heap and that is the only place it is going. My guess is something with Planet Snoopy.
  14. From the Universal page on Screamscape. Instructions - Push and Hold the Rockit logo for 5 seconds to bring up a number keypad. 15. And multiple times after that.
  16. Raptor doesn't have a floor. How is that a similar comparison? Griffon, Dominator, etc.. don't have floors. Diamondback has a floor. Millennium has a floor, do you wish to take your shoes off on that ride? Why? Behemoth is in a whole different country, who may or may not be as stingy on the manufacturer's requirements as the state of Ohio is.
  17. I am just the messenger. We were told on our VIP tour that B&M required it for Diamondback. Why do they require it on Diamondback and not others? Your guess is as good as mine.
  18. ^Intamin. Zach, avoiding the one word policy on the TOS.
  19. B&M requires it. Kings Island has to follow manufacturer's guide lines.
  20. I think he was saying don't expect the Dolphin area and snorkling area to be chlorinated. Many people don't realize it is salt water.
  21. I forgot some. I have the VIP passes and lanyards that they gave us hanging in my room. There might be a reciept from Rivertown Junction under my bed.
  22. I really don't think Disaster Transport or Son of Beast's demolition will take as long as you guys are making it sound. Universal destroyed the whole Jaws area in around a month. That area was huge compared to Disaster Transport. Demo is a lot easier than constructing.
