  1. It that case, someone needs to tell Gemini to quit horsing around!
  2. OK got the first line, but now I am confused by the rest of the post. Interpreting the Interprerter is usually fun, but this one I am not so sure!
  3. I hope they have the money to do so.
  4. I really thought the stock would have taken off again by now?
  5. Welcome to KIC Tito. Unless things have changed and I did not know about it, the parking lot opens at 8 am and the metal detector gates open about 9am. Then the national Anthem plays at 10 am and the park opens for ticket holders to enter the park. I hope this answers your question.
  6. My favorites are when the ride ops are saying push down and pull up on the speakers, but you still have people stuck in the restraint not releasing it correctly. I usally tell them push down and pull up and on occasion helped them out when the gates opened for me to load the train!
  7. Nice TR, thanks for posting!
  8. I would say I was 6 or 7 when I rode Galaxi at Indiana Beach, although a compact steel coaster, it was big for me. I was probably about the same age when I rode Racer for the first time. I remember then those 2 hills were so big and was the best ride in the park. At least for me anyway. I was about 10 when I rode Best for the first time. That is when I went OMG I love this!
  9. It was proved to the satisfaction of a jury (a situation the park could have avoided had it settled the case, sigh), that the injury claimed in a particular case was caused by the ride. Ok there was that case. I was really thinking of people making claims due to their ride experience, not real evidence.
  10. This has been bugging me so I want to get it out of my system. #1 You mention "the greatest driver ever" but you did not mention the name Richard Petty? Hm, don't get that one at all. #2 Dale Earnhardt basically ended up killing himself by not wearing a Hans device. I do respect Mr. Earnhardt, but as most drivers who drove on the same track as him would attest, he was reckless. ANY driver would tell you the same thing: Safety first, winning second. So it is true that they don't hit the brakes when the green flag waves, they also know that they can't win in a car that is in peaces. This coaster is the same way, I have ridden it both with trims and without, I prefer it with trims. It's not disrespectful at all, as a matter of fact I think it upholds the values of NASCAR. But, back to the ride, if its a tribute to Dale Earnhardt, it should be wide open take no prisoners fast, and, yes, reckless!!! Then we get back to the SOB situation with a rough ride, and injury claims no one can prove either way if it was caused by the ride.
  11. I was also surprised to see Six Flags hosting such a vulgar talking band. For those that know me knows this does not offend me, but I was surprised at the amount of times I heard a certain F word being used in that short video. Six flags is not the right venue for that type of band IMO.
  12. I will agree with Six flags that the band did not help the situation, security was trying to protect the band. The band does have a point though, that they should not have used pepper spray on teenagers, even if they were not using any sense. I think it would have been warranted if they were attacking the security officers, and we do not know if that was the case.
  13. That has been gone for what 3 to 4 years now?
  14. Most likely correct on that one!
  15. I bet a few of these issues will be addressed after this article!
  16. Initial slide before you get to the bowl seems shorter than others? At least it seems it from the one at HW?
  17. You working tomorrow? If so good luck, should be a fast day!
  18. How many KK people are going to visit Holiday World this year and fall in love with that park and loose interest in this one?
  19. Yes, but mine was a what if, not a actual. I realize that is not going to be the case.
  20. I have been wondering if they opened it as is, what would need to be done to the structure to get it running again. Would normal start of season maintenance be enough?
  21. Would that be a better or worse ride Terpster?
  22. Not that I disagree with you statement, but I have seen shirts at KI that people had on that have the F word written right on it. Might be on the back and not real noticeable, but that would be offensive to some, and considered more offensive than the tat the lady has.
