I plan on doing the Planet Snoopy thing either next Saturday or the following with the family. This Saturday, I want to ride coasters with my KIC friends and remove my coaster withdraw jitters! I do want to walk through and see it though for sure!

Now the people that carry around the 6 foot tall stuffed animals on their backs probably would like them to be deflated and get a bag of stuffing to fill the animal at home instead of carrying around a big monkey on their back.

For people that come one day to the park for a vacation, they are probably not going to care to much about the balls being bounced. For most of us here that visit the park often get quite annoyed by them, especially in The Beast and Racer queue/station where the floor is wood and you get to feel every bounce. If there was one thing I could change about the prizes at KI, it would be to hand those balls out deflated. I am also guessing KI receives those balls deflated and they are paying someone to inflate them. This could be a cost savings to them, a Win Win!

Let's hope we don't see gas prices sky rocket again this next year. That is going to be a big factor as well I think.

And if it is a corporate day for certain companies. I remember going a few years ago on a Sunday and it was a GM day and the park was packed!

During weekends I like to go on Sundays and the park does not usually get busier till about 1- to 2 pm. (Once Church let's out.) I take many vacation days to go on weekdays to enjoy smaller lines!

all i got to say is .......POCKET ...... NOT HOLSTER. DUH My holster does a much better job at holding my phone than a non buttoned/zipped pocket. DB is the only ride at KI that I even remove it from my holster and place it in a buttoned/zipped pocket. If I am not wearing cargo's where I can do this it stays in the car!

May 15th is the opening day for the water park.

On the edge of my seat, waiting for more!!

As a family when I was younger we only hit KI maybe once a year. We would always end the night with rides on racer. We would then run back to the queue after a ride to see if they had blocked the queue with the trash can yet. If not, we would ride again. We would burn more energy the last 20 minutes of the night to get as many rides in on Racer possible after being exhausted from ridding and standing in the heat all day. That is probably the fondest memories I have of KI! My second fondest memory I have is going to RWW last year, getting to know the KIC family, and enjoying all the ERT. I must say the DB ERT while Giggacoaster2k and I marathoned DB the whole time was a lot of fun. It reminded me of the story I shared above. Thanks to KIC and especially Giga for all the great memories!

At least for now it shows it to be 70 degrees for opening day. I am happy about that!

I noticed that the DB website http://www.kiDiamondback.com/ is not linked on the new DB page http://www.visitking...Diamondback.cfm I wonder if they are going to just let that domain lease run out, or if they just have not linked it yet? Love the new site, KI!

Keep in mind that you are assigned seats and may not get the seat you want the first few times. You can ask the ride ops for a specific row, but won't be guaranteed.

If the ride was still called The Italian Job, then I would be upset about the trains being changed. Since it is now BLSC then the Mini Cooper stickers are not as important to the theming in my opinion. Do I wish it would have stayed the same, yes. Am I okay with the change. Yes, especially if it is going to get us one step closer to a new ride.

So this is going to change the ride experience for you? I will admit it does give it a more personal touch, but the experience on the ride is still the same!
