Example Terpster?

I know what you are saying. After ridding DB, The Beast just does not give me the thrill it used to. I am very sad by this.

This probably needs to go under the "Guest say the" thread, but relevant here. Had a co-workers kid go to KI this past weekend and saw SOB was closed and asked a few people at the park why. She heard several things like they are removing the loop, people died on it this year and it's closed, and they are tearing it down. The mother called me for she knew I would have accurate info to share about its closure. I believe having this ride down is as bad for the park as much as it being open. People in the park share info as fact as well and have not educated themselves on the correct story. Being a teen from out of town, why not believe a local from the area to know what is going on?

HAUNT now operating on select Thursdays and Sundays!
IndyGuy4KI replied to kjkjkj's topic in Kings Island
Well, obviously lots of people do or they would not keep having it. At least we know CeadarPointer will not be in front of us in a queue during haunt! -
Glad she was able to get through that fear and tackle The Beast!

Yeah, the ball can be in anyone's hands right now and everyone has a small percentage of being right on what the holdup is on the situation. I just hope they figure it out soon, the suspense is getting overwhelming!

A true ride warrior/enthusiast would be too busy having fun on the ride to start thinking about doing something that could get them arrested, or worse, expelled forever from the park. Small twist on Hermione Granger’s quote in HP1, but this is my priorities on the matter!

Very nice PTR, Maddie's face holding that bue ice cream is an cute pic!

About two weeks ago I had a dream blue racer was having an electrical problem. Maintenance was having issues finding what was wrong; it was like I was with them but not visible to anyone else. We found the problem at the base of the second largest hill. There was a box they opened, it did not look like a breaker box, but had some push button type switches and one of these were bad. I would like to know if there is any truth to this dream, for I dream a lot of things that turn out to be true.

Most crowded day ever of 2009? PTR- August 1/2
IndyGuy4KI replied to DropZone99's topic in Trip Reports
Quite busy on Friday at KI as well. Good for KI, bad for us that want to get lots of rides in! -
LOL. I try to remember as many details as possible instead of just listing what I rode. I can also survive on very little sleep.. being a college student will do that to you! Are you still on some of those energy pills?

High wire walk in a few weeks. Here's the link! -
Thanks for the TR Angie, sounds like you guys had a good time!

I am curious if trims would even be an option for SOB. If it got trimmed I could see it having roll back issues? Just a thought.

OK, That makes a lot more sense to me! I was really confused. -
Disney World raising ticket prices

About 10 years ago I went to Disney. I agree with experiences, but to me it is a one time park for the prices. -

$68 for my 3 year old to go to the park? Is that a season pass or one day? Another reason why I don't visit the park with Mouse Ears! -
I noticed yesterday that the growing of grass has not been very successful around the splashdown of DB. I figured with the extra moisture the splashdown would create it would have been the best place for grass to grow.

most valuble thing you ever lost at kings island and on what ride
IndyGuy4KI replied to israel09's topic in Kings Island
I don't think I have ever lost anything to a ride at KI. Although, when I go in I only take a few things with me, billfold, ignition key, and starting this season my cell phone. Now that I write this something will get lost. -
Much more functional, and nice to see the whole calendar at once!

I don't think it was meant for you to vote for yourself!

Tig'rr at Indiana Beach did not have any type of restraint system at all until I think 2 seasons ago. They installed seat belts, but before that you sit down in the bob sled type car and went nothing came down at all. I always did not feel safe as a kid in that ride for I would ride with my dad and if he did not hold me down I felt like I was leaving the car. (I may have gotten 2" of air lift, but still.)

Just remembered another one form 7/31. I was in DB queue and a lady is telling this man that there was a log ride they took out where the DB station/queue and splashdown is now. I would have said her story is reasonable if she had said that DB travels out by where the old log ride used to be.
