Kings Island 2025 Food Reviews and Discussion
shark6495 replied to Losantiville Mining Co.'s topic in Kings Island
Yeah super weird but makes sense. Which tracks earlier in the night we had to do 3 separate orders for our meal plans (all coming off my phone with the passes) as festhouse said she could not do more than one meal plans and drink at a time. -

This is more I’m an idiot or I’m confused: One son I bought a regular drink pass, the other son I bought an Icee pass. Later I upgraded the original drink pass to the icee pass. Over the weekend they said one kid had a small icee and the other had the larger cup. She couldn’t tell me which one was which. But any reason for this or just a weird SF thing? -
Kings Island Halloween Haunt 2025 Discussion

We went up Saturday and my son rocked his 2024 Ghost no boos necklace. We were there for only the rides and avoided the haunt stuff (and it makes him feel better). One of the scare actors outside of Stunt coaster pulled us to the side and said that the park told them to ignore the 2024 no boos necklace, but some actors will treat the ‘24 as the same as ‘25. So we are now proud owners of a 2025, but figured I’d give you all a heads up just in case you plan on going with little and have the one from last year. -
I’ve got kids in this age range (and worked elementary schools for a bit). If you’re not talking about stuff not from the big IP (Disney, Nick) then your pickings become super super low. I promise you, that kids do not know nor care about Snoopy currently because he is not on tv consistently. My middle kid really enjoyed the new Charlie Brown movie (2015) but he grew bored of it after a while because there was nothing new to follow. Snoopy doesn’t bring in the crowds but kids enjoy it there. Looney Tunes has at least been on streaming with repeats and new shows/movies for a bit. Would kids come to see Bugs Bunny? But I think this was the same argument we had on these boards 15 years ago when Nick shows were being replaced Ultimately, my thought is the kids (and us adults) don’t come because of a theme but a theme can make it more enjoyable and want to do it again.

Peanuts has been engrained recently, this is at Kings Island specifically but assume its similar for the KECO parks on their way to Paramount at CF Peanuts - 2010 to 2025 (30?) - 15-20 years Nickelodeon - 1995-2010 - 15 years (5 years without the HB stuff) Hanna Barbara - 1972 - 2005 - 33 years. (23 years without the Nick stuff)

I really really liked it. It also closed when I was 24 and opened when I was 14/15. The first drop (on a wooden coaster) for me was great, I loved the loop. The rest of very meh. Very rough. it was a ride that I would ride, say I don’t need to ride it again and the following season try it again to come back with the same reaction. it is sort of crazy that the most impressive parts of it were hidden away from public view/view from the street.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge

I was listening to the Disney Dish and they spoke about tariffs impacting Disney. Basically they said it could delay or stop a ton of future plans if things have not already been purchased. -company gives park a price -tariffs hit -company states the old price is off -company asks suppliers for all new prices -company gets new cost and sends it to park -park approves then tariffs change again basically they said everytime a tariff changes that process has to change as well. -
Looney Tunes Planet Snoopy Retheme Concept

I have to hard disagree with anyone saying Peanuts is more popular than Looney Tunes. I think around here we see so much Peanuts stuff that it is a little bit of a confirmation bias. -
if it’s cheap and it’s dirty people will feel even less likely to take care of it. It’s a self fulfilling cycle.

I’m split on this. The KI haunts and mazes were great for the kids because they were not the scariest and because of the large crowd the kids saw the scares coming. if they don’t upgrade the way they do it, it’s going to be a hard pass for me on paying to walk through a cattle call maze. -
In a previous life I did some Tv programming for a few college stations and a few digital sub stations. It’s not as difficult as it sounds to do. The initial upfront could be but you could do it in a way that creates a fairly easy multi-hour loop.

True but 10-15 years ago it was all hearsay rumors and fan sites now with social media, you almost have to be perfect at launch or else it spreads quickly. until recently I never understood why official grand openings at Disney and Universal happen after months of soft openings and previews. Now I get it. It’s not a failure if the ride is still in beta testing phase. -
Thank you. The other day walking at the park I was thinking there used to be a Skee Ball arcade building and thought maybe I just really lost my memory. Wasn’t there also a metal turning game where you had to move a metal circle on or off of it? any who here’s a link to a 2017 forum post about it:
