  3. Thought it would be appropriate to show off my math skills (ones that I actually did right on here for once On an on topic moment, I enjoyed the haunts last year, but none of them were, to me, something that I felt man I could have spent an extra $60 for.
  4. Would this be any different than a certain coaster being themed to a certain NASCAR driver? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. If you have a name that's not on shareaCoke.com you won't be able to print them here... Had a few names rejected today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You could be a Kings fan because they once were in Cincinnati Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Im betting in the his free time, Don greases the wheels up a bit more on the Blue side. Then always bets a Skyline 3 way on which one will win.... In my mind, Don is becoming the Chuck Norris of Kings Island...
  8. Some would say that you make your own breaks or your own luck...
  9. Yea I was more making light of his weight growth... I actually remember he said it when he was talking about his weight loss... http://www.si.com/nba/2014/07/11/lebron-james-cleveland-cavaliers
  10. Thanks! I couldnt remember who said that.... Should have assumed it was the Round Mound of Pound...
  11. side note, when a ride changes names and or parks, do the ride counts continue? So for example, Top Gun/Flight Deck/Bat, do they all have their individual counts or is one continuous count? Also, Firehawk, does it count riders in its history or just at the current park? It would be interesting to see what are the next big milestones for each ride and the expected hit for each milestone.
  12. some athletes can be role models. Freestyle skiers are good people. Nick Goepper is my role model because he proved that if u work hard then anything can be achieved. He won an Olympic medal and grew up skiing on a hill. But i also know him because our sisters know each other from that Cincinnati Gymnastics Academy Okay, let me clarify what I meant. You are absolutely right, some athletes can be role models. I dont like when people say "Athlete X should behave this way because he is a role model." A role model, should be someone that has lived a life that you want to emulate. So for example, you know Mr. Goepper and have seen his hard work. He earned being your role model through his hard work, not just because he is famous.
  13. His own people admitted that LbJ didn't know where he was going till the morning of his tv special. As for being self centered, well that's almost every star athlete. As being compare to Jordan, not many will be as great as Jordan but Jordan lost before the finals more than James has. I have no real dog in this fight but if you are looking for "role models " in professional sports look at what he has done : no drug or alcohol arrests, marries the mom of his kid, has another and pregnant with a 3, always goes back to his home town to give back, took care of his friends an family (probably why he has no one to tell him no). Side note I hate when people try to make athletes role models Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yea but with the release of the raft video and a warning of death, if someone does die it could be argued that the park knowingly opened a very dangerous ride Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. While the show was misstep ( someone should have said hey this seems like a bad idea) but where did all of the advertising dollars of that show go to? The Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland. He also does his yearly bike donation to Akron. Not to mention his continuous funding of his high school and grade school athletics. Plus the other stuff he does that does not get publicized.... 16. Whelp.... this could be awesome. Also, you would now understand what its like to go over the edge of Niagra.....
  17. Could you imagine Universal or Disney making announcements about a train leaving in a certain amount of time? I think back to the first Harry Potter ride. We went and the wait was almost 3 hours, but it was a continuous movement. If you have not ridden that ride, imagine Phantom Theater/Boo Blaster ride platform with over the shoulder harnesses. The ride ops were personable and quick to get you in and seated. No one told you that you would be left behind etc.
  18. As a Graduate of the fine City of Athens.... Ohio U or OhioU or Ohiou should never ever ever be confused with the Script Ohio Thieves..... Seriously look it up Script Ohio started at OU but OSU does do it better...
  19. Agreed the team (Cavs) made some great runs with LBJ. But the Big 3 came together and only mustered 2 rings. But they are two rings. If he comes back to the Cavs, some people will stay angry at what he did, but once he gets the Cavs back to the playoffs, those people will either be quieted or no one will listen to them. Winning cures all. Look at Ken Griffey Jr. Had he been on a winning team when he had the injuries, people would have been more forgiving. But because the team lost a bunch of those games those years, people say Grif was a scrub. I still get sad and embarrassed to be a Reds fan when I recall people booing Griffey when he dove for a ball in CF and damaged his shoulder. What if Gemini is renamed 23/6..... or maybe 23/32 http://factoryofsadness.co/2014/07/07/report-lebron-james-wear-32-cleveland-return/
  20. Here are two I had the other day: I call them "The Parking Lot Racer" and "The Parking Lot DJ"..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Oh come on. He did not betray anyone. He went to where he thought he would have a better chance at winning. These athletes are employees of a business. They do not owe anyone anything. They are paid to do a job. No one ever gets mad at a manager who goes to another job because they have better benefits. By winning, LeBron has made more money through endorsements that he would have never gotten here (without winning). Not to mention all of the money, time, and other intangibles he brings back to the city of Akron and the Cleveland area, its laughable that people can even attempt to paint him as a bad guy. I was upset that he left, I admit that. Not because of any other reason than that meant the Cavs were going to go back to losing. Which they did. On the ride, its a marketing move. Maybe it will be something like "LeBron's Raptor" or "The King's Mean Streak"....
  22. LeBron does do a lot of good for his hometown of Akron.... If he comes back to Cleveland, expect the response to be huge huge huge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Actually people who work out will sweat more. If you do a little heavy activity your boy assumes you are about to do a full blown workout so your body goes into cooling mode.... Now odors can be controlled by what you eat and drink Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. But during that first year...... Hey at least there were Trams the entire time Paramount owned the park (before being bought.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. A 12 year should never be editing information on a website..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
