  1. What was it about Wildebeest that you found so underwhelming?
  2. Its been there since 2001. I've only ridden it once, but it is a fun, if short, ride. http://rcdb.com/739.htm
  3. Could a deal be close?Workman says deal is close to being signed.
  4. Facebook is slowly draining away my faith in humanity...I don't even know where to begin with the comments that have been posted...
  5. Tig'rr has seatbelts now but it is still a really fun ride. I wasn't as impressed with Steel Hawg but both of my brothers loved it. Now Cornball...that is one freaking fun ride!
  6. The park posted on their FB page the other day that all the coasters were back up and running. I believe that the Falling Star is the only ride that still hasn't opened yet this year. I second what TomRaider said about the food - more reasonable than KI. I would suggest the taco place (name escapes me at the moment) by Lost Coaster.
  7. Plus if Starlight Spectacular was moved to Tower Gardens then their would be room for a nice GCI between Backlot and DB! One can dream I suppose...
  8. One thing this rumor may have going for it is that the only CF park that has shown any sign of 2012 construction is CW (and Dorney adding Invertigo) and there does not seem to be much hype surrounding whatever is going on up there. This MAY indicate that there are not going to be any large scale coaster projects this off-season, freeing up capital to overhaul SOB. Or we could see another year of general park improvements, flat ride additions, etc.
  9. Personally I had pain in my thighs during the second half of Mantis but no problems at all with my uh, man parts. Its not a spectacular ride, but it certainly isn't terrible. I certainly agree that there isn't much at CP that should be missed, especially if it is your first visit. I hope you have a blast!
  10. ^Mantis has been running with the first drop trim off this year.
  11. It really is an amazing park! Raven and Voyage are both EXCELLENT rides. Thank you for sharing your trip with us!
  12. There are strobe lights in the scene just past the organ scene as well. It is a room full of skeletons. Other then that and the on-ride photo I can't think of any but I'm sure others here will be able to tell you if I missed any. (Sad that I just rode this yesterday and still can't remember if I'm missing any!)
  13. The thread where the photo used to be is here. It was a picture of a fair number of blue B&M track pieces sitting in a clearing taken from Thunderhead's lifthill. As Vortex stated, the photo has since been taken down by the site's admin.
  14. There were pictures posted over at TPR of the pieces on site at Dollywood.
  15. According to you though, this truck was heading away from CW.
  16. They sell season passes at Kroger?
  17. It seems like if track was already being delivered then some sort of site work would already be underway. The only places I have heard of that so far are Dollywood, Hershey, and CW (and the work at CW hasn't been confirmed to be for a new coaster). Though this seems to be moving the opposite direction of all those. Can anyone on here confirm what model of B&M track that is?
  18. I remember the Voyage pictures as well. There were water dummies in the front half or so of the train and two people riding in the very back if I remember correctly.
  19. There was music playing in the station for Flight Deck Friday night that I don't remember being there last season.
  20. I have a KI Platinum Pass, a Six Flags pass (from Six Flags St. Louis) and a season pass to Indiana Beach as well.
  21. Like others have said, it really depends on the crowds. I have actually found Sundays to be my favorite day for ERT as the crowds are almost always significantly lighter then Fridays and Saturdays.
  22. B&M inverts are probably my favorite type as a group. I have only ridden three but loved them all. Terrain woodies would be a close second.
  23. Looks like they have some of the lights on again this evening.
