I'm cautiously optimistic about Bluegrass Boardwalk. There's a lot of risk here, but sometimes you have to take risks in order to succeed. For now, I'm willing to give the Kochs involved in this operation the benefit of the doubt while I stand back and watch the progress. We can talk about whether BB will succeed or fail all day, but ultimately we won't know what will happen until next year at the earliest. My belief is that the Kochs are taking a huge risk in this venture, but that they are possibly the best people for the job other than Ed Hart. If BB is to succeed, though, they have a lot to learn, not the least of which is an entirely new market that they're not familiar with. Still, I trust that they aren't completely clueless here; I doubt they would have taken on this venture in the first place if they didn't have some understanding of what it would take.

As mentioned in the email, please note that access to Soak City this weekend will be by the parking lot entrance ONLY. There will be no train service to the waterpark, and I presume that the walking path between the Picnic Grove and Soak City will be closed as well.

They only had two coasters open since 2009... it's been DB/Beast and WS/Vortex. ...and WS/Vortex is actually only one coaster.

I've worked the search function here on the forums as well as Google Images to exhaustion, but can't find it. It hasn't been posted here in a while. It's the image of Picard facepalming above a photo of SOB with words to the effect of "because no matter what the topic is, it's gotta be about SOB". Unfortunately, search engines are pretty terrible at searching for text in images. I'd like to have the link to it so I can post it when appropriate (this thread is asking for it right now) and to add to my facepalm collection. Who here can point me in the right direction?

^ From the appearance of the design behind the station logo and weather at the upper corners, I suspect that's just the same BB logo superimposed on the station's own background, probably how it appeared on screen in the TV newscast. I doubt it's actually part of the BB logo itself.

Definitely the new direction of management. The other changes are one-time things; you get excited over them at first, but the excitement quickly fades away as you get used to it. The new direction of management, on the other hand, will continue to effect positive changes for hopefully years to come if things continue the way they're going.

Kings Island is not owned by Cedar Point. The two parks, however, are owned by the same company.
