water park improvements
It's not hard to rival Mammoth. A slide that rivals Wildebeest, now THAT would get me to actually go to the water park. Yes, I said it. I don't think Mammoth is THAT great.

Banshee Construction Progress
And you'll notice, Racer and Scrambler are not trademarked ride names. Bat, when not preceded by "the", can describe an animal or a piece of baseball equipment. Monsters can live under your bed. And if I wanted to be an insufferable teenager, I could describe something that was fun as being "beast". So even where it misses, it actually doesn't.

It's for all rides too, I believe. It also automatically capitalizes Don. You can't even use the word don't without the D automatically being capitalized. Now hopefully all this discussion can be put to rest! ^ Clearly, you can use the word "don't". Now let's test something else... I don my fanny pack for my trip to the amusement park. EDIT: Not perfect yet. Or perhaps it is working exactly as it should. I worked an internship in software quality assurance, so I like trying to break software. Not trying to be mean-spirited, just trying to help potential issues get found.

The Beast 35th Anniversary
I like to hope I'll be able to ride coasters at that age. I'm not totally sure The Beast will make it to 100, purely because the odds are not in its favor. Currently, there are three operating coasters in the WORLD that are 100 years old or more, and only one in this country. With that said, Beast has a solid reputation and is loved by millions, so it stands to reason that unless something catastrophic happens, the park will do whatever is necessary to maintain it. But in the words of the 1980s rock band Asia, only time will tell.

Banshee Construction Progress
Wait, there are filters that can automatically replace text? This is a test. If the test passes, all will be fine. If it fails, I will edit this post. Kings Island. Edit: Yes, there is code in place to replace, at least, an all lower-case "Kings Island" to the properly capitalized name. Very cool.

It has been dug up for a while. As for what's happening with it, nobody here knows just yet.

Banshee First Rider T-Shirts?
A picture is worth a thousand words. No matter what the park does, you are free to take as many photographs as you wish to remember the day by. Just don't take any ON the ride. We don't need any park rules or ORC violations. Especially on Media Day.

Invertigo Station Music
I, for one, am thrilled that the station music is no longer Vertigo. Hometar92, who hates U2 more than dental fillings, computer viruses, the bird flu, and Vortex haters. Combined.

Banshee Construction Progress
And in addition to all that has been said, we aren't here to be grammar Nazis. The only reason that we find it so important to keep enforcing this issue is, simply put, the admins have asked us to and it's good for the future of Kings Island. There are many things that are technically TOS violations that are minor enough that we ignore them. Imagine someone were to make a post that said: "i dont really like ice cream" Assuming that such a post is on topic, we probably wouldn't say anything. It looks unprofessional and we'll all cringe, but at the end of the day, nobody is getting hurt by it. I'm not encouraging people to use bad grammar elsewhere, but with trademarks, copyrights, etc, it is very important. Remember the KIC day we had in June and the Birthday Bash we had a couple months later? Do you think the park would hold such events if our failure to correctly use trademark names led to a competing park being able to open a coaster named The Beast, Vortex, Diamondback, Banshee, etc?

Hot new items!
I think there should be a Banshee sauce made from ghost peppers.

The Beast 35th Anniversary
The better question is, if we reached 100 years of terror, how much of what makes up Kings Island today will remain?

2015 talk
Losing the lake would have been less bad if the ride that we lost it for was actually anything special. Yes, I went there. Homestar92, feeling rather... studly.

Banshee Trains
The vests look small, but the top part can pull out like a seatbelt, and that's how it form-fits to the rider. As for comparisons to existing rides, here's the best I can do: When I went to Cedar Point with my dad, he did not fit on Gatekeeper (even in row 4), but it was very, very close. Banshee uses the same restraints as Gatekeeper. On the other hand, he DID fit on Corkscrew, but by an incredibly small margin. Corkscrew uses the same restraints as Vortex. So basically, if you can get on Vortex without too much effort, Banshee shouldn't be a problem (at least in row 4). Your mileage may vary. I should probably clarify that row 4 has seatbelts that are about an inch to an inch and a half longer than the other rows.

It's tough to explain how they work. If memory serves, the top of the vest can pull out like a seat belt. It's similar to how the vest on Firehawk works in that regard.

KI Throwback Photo of The Day
At Kennywood, they do not have gates in their coaster stations, and some do not have seat belts. It is certainly different if you're used to the now-standard way of doing things.

Delirium Music?
Wheel in the Sky would be better suited for WindSeeker.

Banshee Construction Progress
Many here would categorize bathrooms in X-Base as the number two best thing that could be added to the park.

Kings Island The Next Cedar Point
I could take a walk through the Frontiertown section of Cedar Point, as well as the Corkscrew midway. But I'd have to agree with you regarding the rest of the park.

No Loose Articles in the Banshee Station
Get a clip and hook it on your belt loop. I use one of those on one of my back belt loops, and people behind me on Diamondback always freak out because they think my keys are falling out of my pockets. Sitting in the best seat (row 16) is a great solution to this issue.

Banshee wait line on opening day
It doesn't become obvious until someone gets hurt, but satisfaction is directly related to guest safety.

Also, Coney Potato Works has gluten free ice cream cones, chicken tenders, and fries. Festhaus has gluten free pizza, but as far as I know you have to buy a whole pizza. I don't know about Rivertown Potato Works, but last season I honestly enjoyed the Coney Mall location more. Sacrelige, I know... Of course, since being introduced to Kennywood's Potato Patch, both Potato Works locations are like McDonald's fries in comparison...

I believe Monster Energy is distributed by Coca-Cola, so they might sell it in the park. But if I remember correctly, last season the energy drink I saw in vending machines was Full Throttle.

Week V: Interesting Coaster Names
The critics seem to be silent on that coaster I'd rather see Monty Python's Flying Coaster

Firehawk vs B&M flyers
All I can say about flyers is that the Firehawk/Batwing track layout is more fun to me than the Nighthawk layout. Take away that last helix, and you take away my motivation to ride Firehawk.

2014 Park Map Info
There is nothing restful to me about public restrooms. My number one most anticipated thing about graduating college and moving back home is having my own bathroom for more than three months of the year again.
