    The Beast's second tunnel is always interesting as most of the sound vibrates off the walls. It scared me during one particular night ride as The Beast roared through the tunnel. EDIT: Oh, and in the last part of the double helix, it always feels like the train is trying to be ripped off the track by being pulled in the opposite direction of the turn.

    Great trip report! The KICer we ran into on the way to Vortex was Armentrout (I didn't know him prior, I just remembered his name from Saturday). Also, thanks for referencing my theory- #hoennconfirmed is all I will say lol!

    I like how Fury 325's footprint is grafted into the satellite view in such a way that the attraction's name and a photo icon is "displayed" on the map. If you didn't see/pay attention to the clear breaks between the image of Fury and Kings Island, one might think that there is a new giga at the park! In all seriousness, though, I don't recall seeing stakes out by the fort when riding the train, but maybe I wasn't looking in the right places.

    Opening Day was a blast- Kings Island is officially open for weekends only (except for today!)

    I noticed this a bit too. When in line for Beast, I saw some new "Beast Containment Area #" signs that I thought were a nice touch.

    @stashua123: I believe that the guy in the grey next to Thrill Biscuit is Dr. Zhark. By the way, yesterday was a blast, the highlights being the Banshee rides (all three times for different reasons), Beast, one of the musical numbers in Hollywood Nights (I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen the show...) and walking through Dinosaurs Alive. And that Skyflier ride was memorable, too

    Good Morning all; it's here! Kings Island's Opening Day is today! Park opens @ 10 and I will see some of ya'll at breakfast! :)

    I'm thinking an RMC hybrid because of the falling trees signage- it could try to be billed as a "wooden" coaster It could also be very possible that it is an actual wooden coaster. Other possibilities could include a Wild Mouse or S&S Free Fly (because I watched that Coaster Studios video and for some reason, when I saw the teaser, I immediately thought RMC or Free Fly) And thanks Goble for starting this thread; happy speculatin'! EDIT: I forgot to mention I also thought of Camp Snoopy when I saw the picture of the signs because of the proximity to Planet Snoopy.

    1 more day until tomorrow... i'm currently wearing my Banshee shirt; I wore my Storm Runner shirt yesterday and my Great Bear shirt the day before... I am so ready to be back in the park!

    No... not #Yoloflume (I've so nicknamed RFYLCB because of that amazing Closing Day ride a few years back!)!? In all seriousness, I thought of another possible idea for 2017... a wild mouse coaster, perhaps? It could be a family coaster and the location is so close to Planet Snoopy that it could work. Then again, I'd welcome a custom RMC in that spot too... or maybe some flats, who knows?

    Interesting video; those pillars on that one turn remind me of a similar element on Adventure Express. However, I don't know if I like all the side-to-side motion as it reminds me of what I don't like about Thunderhead.
