  1. Also just to FYI..there is a group coming from the base of single unnacompanied airman, dunno how many but there is a group on it's way at some point this weekend that will be staying down there as well for KI..I'll avoid that too lol
  2. If you get your restraint right that tug down is alot more fun than you can believe. Feels like you're being pushed down by just your shoulders, everything else doesn't touch anything. Then the bounce up with a little bit of float to finish it off..perfect.
  3. It along with other water rides have not opened yet. It was slotted for a Memorial Day opening if memory serves correct, but we will see if this ride meets that deadline.
  4. There are some I can stand and you know that However..the ones with the ACE watches, belt, shirts, sunglasses straps, goggles... Then if I have to be in the queues with them..and they talk nonstop.. As someone famously says..Ohhh myy Plus I believe SR2 is an avid Acer and will potentially be at the park. I avoid him and his smell at all costs.
  5. Obviously we're getting something new and big at least I think. We will see. I've been following HW alot this year seeing how the company intends to go since the fiasco awhile back. Hopefully we go for the good, we shall see.
  6. We already have a Mayflower though..so now I'm confused as to where this is heading.
  7. Not always true, I have seen full queues on that ride before which is astonishing to me. But the ride still stands, guests do ride it, and some people do enjoy it. I ride it once early in the season once it opens, that's it
  8. Drive doesn't bother me to get to the park. I just want somewhere to rest for a few hours and unwind. I'll keep looking and see what happens.
  9. I don't like some ACE members. Busy days don't bother me I will find fun things to do, lines are lines, I've got time. Dealing with some creepy/rude/annoying members..Aint nobody got time for that.
  10. Sorry I haven't posted my Tuesday trip yet, as posted elsewhere, it's a crazy busy schedule for me as of late. We did Chicken Shack Tuesday for lunch, was very pleased this time around. Media Day was mass quantities of good free food, I can't complain. Was quality off there a tad that day, yeah, but was it decent, oh of course. This time though, everything was much better. The breading was slapped on a bit more and had a bit of seasoning this time, not just a bread taste. The chicken was not gushing with grease, which made me very happy. Last time it was so greasy the chicken would seep when bitten into. Chicken this time around was good. Def. seals the deal on me getting the dining plan to continue eating here and a few other places the rest of the year. Fries changed a bit. it's almost potato works quality..almost. Nice soft, salty, tasty fries. Didn't need any ketchup or anything, good just the way it was. Which is how fries should be. Bread did change, it's a bigger now, which I'm not complaining, it was my favorite part of the meal. The bread this time was a bit drier this time, not the soft buttery goodness of media day, but was still quite enjoyable. Sauces: I got the chipotle ranch/mayo deal they offer, which is a good sauce. My only gripe was the small cup they give you is half full if that. I went back and spent a buck on a second cup that was at least a little better. For a 4 strip combo deal they offer, one small cup is not going to go that far IMO. I think they need to be like McD's and offer more sauces for more. Think if youy get a 10 piece, you get 2 BBQ's, 20pc you get 4 or something like that. Or at least fill the cups full of the sauces, don't be greedy it's a sauce for chicken, lather it up haha. Speaking of sauces. The table now has squirt bottles of BBQ, Medium & Hot sauce. The BBQ is Montgomery Inn as we all know. The Medium/Mild is almost like a Charleys Subs Buffalo sauce you get on a Buffalo Chicken there. The Hot does have a bit of bite to it. You only need a dab of this stuff but it's a good hot sauce flavor. That stuff was great on the fries as I tried all the sauces avail. to get a feel for what I like come future visits. Overall, good food, good price, and very enjoyable. The 4 strip combo is hefty though, my eyes were bigger than my gut I can say that. That's honestly a meal to split. Three is nice to get that extra bit of chicken, but I think future I'll go for two strip combos. They did finally offer the wraps & sandwich, but it's basically strips in a wrap or strips on a bun (which to me is pathetic..and pretty cheap, gimmie a breaded chicken breast or something man). I may try em in the future but I think I'll stick to two strips, fries, sauce, and a Shock Top.
  11. Practically is..Same companies involved between both rides for the most part, if not the whole thing. I wouldn't be surprised if so.
  12. ^^Hopefully not while the ride was cycling...Again.. That crew was fantastic last year, loved every bit of them, this year I'm already a bit upset with their performance.
  13. I wish I could have gone for this weeks events & stuff to see some of you. I won't be there until the end of the month by the looks of it. Lots of stuff going on. Car parts, car maint., ordering car stuff, Indy race next week, PT, just..busy busy busy. And to think I just got back from leave
  14. Money isn't everything trust me.. One of my Ex's thought I was going to commit suicide because I ordered a Pepperoni/Mushroom pizza and she thought they were poisonous.. I was happy that relationship ended.
  15. Theres an ACE deal going on in the park this weekend, I'm staying away.. Plus I may work on the car a bit, couple studs I need to hammer out as the prior owner impacted the lugnuts everytime sadly..grr
  16. ^^Scott it's good to see you back on here btw
  17. I'll be there 30-31MAY, not sure about Lindz, discussing atm Another note, when I go to Holiday World I just drive there and back after enjoying a day being only a four ish hour drive. First time having to stay around the site, where does everyone stay down there?
  18. Not always.. I will let guests be comfortable as the restraint is where it needs to be and makes contact on necessary points. However on hydraulic restraints such as this, when you legit force down and push down to cause a painful ride, that's a different story. I rarely did that, usually not intentional, usually to get a restraint to fit. Only a few intentional for other employee friends as a joke or to the occasional stupid guest who downed my ride.
  19. May boost testosterone, but your appearance however will be quite diminishing
  20. With Banshee and AZ being a huge staple this year in the park and a very large investment I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't something immediately touched. However with CW up north and it's new dark ride with so many details still hidden and unknown I'm curious to see if it's design might be something we see down here @ KI at some point in the future. Hopefully I'll have a chance to ride it this year. I can always wish for something like Verbolten though, hopefully I get to ride that for the first time this year as well.
  21. I hope CP never gets the same big droppy thing.. Especially with a much better droppy thing model with added shotty thing too next door. So many things
  22. Or talking to eachother via mic in Zephyr while loaded cycle is going.. Walked past and saw that Tuesday they were chatting with eachother via mics while the ride was loaded and going looking at eachother...If it wasn't for the fact I had things to take care of and was on the phone with an important call I would have screamed. First time I have EVER had to file a -GR..EVER..I just..I was lost for words
  23. Regardless heaters or not, after that water is on your body and you exit, oh you'll feel frigid if it's a cooler day
  24. They take your flip flops from you? I must try this hehe. I picture a ride op just coming up and snatching them off of my feet Rode Banshee a multitude of times Tuesday, park was dead dead dead, especially after 1700. We rode 23-24, 43-44, and 83-84 most of the time. Purple train for row 4 seemed to vibrate a bit now, I don't remember if it was the train others had noticed or not I can't remember. Second row and last row obviously a great and fantastic ride hands down (or up) Only problem I had was the security guard at Banshee's entrance couldn't do his job worth a darn. The line was cut off when Banshee 2-9'd and they put a trash can over the entrance as per standard protocol for KI. Then like 8 people skidded past the can, we brought it up, nothing happened..Just..pathetic honestly Rides were great, and being literally just a walk on, no complaints there. Well, one more small gripe. Lindz was putting her glasses in her pocket when the ride op we had (some bigger kid with a stache) asked her to remove her hands from under her restraint, she said one second, after she removed them he just completely stapled her. We talked about it and I was like, well I'm comfy laughing. He apparently overheard us and said "the restraint must fully touch the body at all times during the ride to run." I really wanted to call out his **** poor excuse for stapling a guest but he had to put up a clear and dispatch us.
