Paramount had a higher average attendance overall during its ownership with Kings Island compared to Cedar Fair. And that’s not counting 2020 because of Covid:

Hopefully Intamin puts out a fun, safe, and reliable ride. It would be nice to see them back in the mix at legacy CF Parks.

RiverRacers coming to Soak City in 2025

Wrong. I know there are enthusiasts here who are thrilled with this addition. -

I don’t think the “standards” were impossible to meet by any stretch. Especially for a park like Kings Island who should be in a better position financially than Holiday World. I think it’s more on the lines of what is expected. People want certain coaster/ride types because they had an experience or seen an awesome one elsewhere such as Wildebeast at Holiday World. -
AlpenFury- New for 2025 at Canada's Wonderland

It was stated at Coastermania by Tony Clark. The implication that Intamin would have been a better choice is because they were the original manufacturer. For example if you drive a Ford, you probably wouldn’t take it to Toyota to have work done to it. -

It’s called intrusive thoughts. Sometimes they win. -

So it’s not a water coaster if you’re not even willing to count it. Lol Either way, some would call this a straw-man argument and to some degree that may be true. This is a good addition no doubt, however for a “Water coaster” it misses the mark in my opinion. -

So we are in agreeance, It’s not a water coaster. -

I’ve never ridden of heard of a coaster that requires you to carry the vehicle you rode in. Slides require you to carry a tube. -

Is it really a water coaster if you have to carry your own tube? -

In fairness, Intamin was the original manufacturer that pitched the TT2 idea. CF took that idea and out of spite gave the job to Zamperla. We see how well that’s working out. I agree tho, I think it would be best if both worked together on a smaller project. A Darkoaster would be an amazing addition to KI. -

Instead of adding 2640ft of track to The Beast, maybe they can instead add 2000ft of track to Orion. The shortest “giga” in the world. -
The 50ft observation deck on the Eiffel Tower is, in my opinion, prime real-estate for a VIP Lounge. It’s a unique spot that only a few get to venture to and the prestige patrons can remain subjected to the elements.

I got a survey tonight that didn’t show Beast 2.0. It just asked what attraction would I like to see at KI in the next 2-3 years followed by which attraction would I not miss. -
So many possible projects, where does the park even start?

The logic is based off the fine print they can change things at a whim. So yes, although they stated there won’t be “additional benefits”. What’s stopping them from changing the terms in a negative way? There is no reason to purchase add-on’s early on, because there is no incentive to. Unlike Gold Passes which the price goes up as the beginning of the new season nears. Also Add ons do not work until January 1st, unlike purchasing next year’s Gold Pass which also grants you access to the “current” season. I’m not saying don’t buy anything, it’s more or less timing.

It would be awesome if the 2ft steam engine that was replaced by an electric train was moved to Carowinds. -

It could be a rollercoaster, a rapids splash battle, a relocated train ride, a meet and greet area, and a new splash pad. -
Yet they provide lids for take home Skyline and Panda Express? It makes zero sense.

From what I was told, only “paying customers” get a lid to go with their ICEE: I guess all season drink plan plus folks are not “paying customers”???
