They also added cold beer to the VIP lounge.

That’s because the people who make these decisions don’t actually use the lounges themselves. It’s like when they extended FoF’s queue. It can be 100 degrees outside and they rather use the outdoor line and have hardly any of the indoor climate control queue open. Whoever made that decision too doesn’t wait in lines. And as you mentioned that’s already built in infrastructure that can be utilized to enhance guest experience.

Lean-to’s are a hot commodity right now.

The Coca-Cola refresh might be what is going onto the expanded patio they added next to Chicken Shack. I don’t have a photo of it myself, but it was discussed on Tower Topics at the 31:50 mark:

Honestly that ad is not all that bad for an ad. Horrible would be the entire cars / trains wrapped in ads, or tacky placement in general. This is a billboard which most billboards are ads so it makes sense.

WCPO: Kings Island hints at major new roller coaster with survey
Tr0y replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I believe there is a couple shows that are outsourced and it’s been that way for years. Also the grilled chicken sandwiches were once sold at the Jukebox Dinner? I don’t recall them being popular. -
WCPO: Kings Island hints at major new roller coaster with survey
Tr0y replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
I think it’s more noticeable assuming you frequent Kings Island more than any others in the chain. However although my experience in park at CP didn’t seem much different. My experience staying overnight in their hotels was drastically different from the prior seasons. Castaway bay was doing a ride rotation. Some of the slides never opened. Breakers was operating skeleton crews to get rooms ready for guests. Imagine paying 300+ dollars a night and not getting to check in on time because the hotel didn’t have your room ready. **Id also like to add Planet Snoopy at CP appeared as if it was on a ride rotation too. -
WCPO: Kings Island hints at major new roller coaster with survey
Tr0y replied to BoddaH1994's topic in Kings Island
If I had to pick between 4 rides and attractions to be the next additions at Kings Island it would be: 1) Ground up Titan-track coaster 2) Indoor coaster 3) Log flume 4) ProSlide water coaster What would be your 4 picks? -
So with that being said, it’s likely we’re getting one of those 4 coasters.

Misleading title, the 2024 season has only just begun for some of those parks. Cedar Point hasn’t even opened for the regular season?
-
Why even have a survey with options A, B, C or D when all along Cedar Fair intends on picking E?
-
I do have one issue with these "What do you want?" surveys as it shows a lack of creativity going on at Cedar Fair. If guests got to pick, Kings Island would have never gotten Mystic Timbers and Cedar Point would never have got Maverick. I would much rather Cedar Fair come up with its own original ideas and get the best bang for the buck coaster.

This should be one of the monthly specials at KI: https://fb.watch/rLsnR-89EX/?

They had people working registers and the tickets were on a screen. It was the longest food line I waited for. Now granted it's a busy weekend but I also ate at Enrique's and that lined moved fluidly.

I had Skyline yesterday at the park. The food was prepared well, and the fries were done perfectly. However, the operations appeared to be more or less a dumpster fire. It was roughly 30 minutes in between ordering my food and receiving it. Alot of custom orders I.E. cheese on the side, with or without mustard or onions. I get it, us Cincinnatians have our own particular way we like our Skyline. Some out of town folks call it "cult" like. It appears that most people are not waiting in the line to receive their food but are congregating in large groups at the takeout window. Given that people were not waiting in line, the crew working the registers kept pumping out more tickets than the back kitchen could keep up with. This caused a lot of orders to be given out in error and food being sent back to be "Fixed." Which further delayed things. Not sure how they can prevent that, other than maybe attempting to make it more like a drive through or go with a chipotle model where you pick your fixings.

I used to share the same sentiment. Now I believe the reason why chicken tenders are sold at every location is so that families with young picky eaters can eat together. Just my two cents.

That’s another good coaster, that drop track gets me every time.

I’m totally on board with an indoor coaster. If the park has any aspirations on operating year round, the weather has to be removed from the equation. I think a lot of people would like the idea of seeing Phantom Theatre make a return. Imagine it in coaster form? A good example of an breathing new life in a beloved IP is Darkoaster at BGW:

If that is the case maybe they move production to Wishbone grill? Plenty of grills in that location.

If his pass is/was already under a payment plan, subsequent add ons have to be purchased in full. Otherwise you have to cancel it, then repurchase with it all falling under the payment plan umbrella.
