One of the best food items on the dining plan is the Boom Boom Shrimp Po Boy at French Corner. You can get a side of Canun pasta salad (best option ) or homemade chips. This is the best hidden gem for the park as the wait time is usually minimal as many pass this location and it gives an enjoyable view of the Eiffel Tower and eating outside is like a small cafe in Paris. Yesterday was a whirlwind of activity! The weather was perfect, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. People were being considerate, kind, and not complaining about anything. It felt like we were all on the same page, understanding that this is just the beginning. If things don’t go smoothly right away, we know they’ll get better in the coming weeks. Thanks to all the hardworking folks who were doing their best to keep up with the high demand. It was a very successful preview day, and I can’t wait for season 54!

Kings Dominion just announced their Opening Day and schedule of events and Winterfest is not shown and KD Fans also reporting that it will not return also. CA Great America also not having Winterfest this year as the park might be closing at the end of this year. I was against getting the Prestige Pass this year and went to get Gold instead, but after seeing the financial savings of parking, front of the line pass, 2 annual BAF tickets, 5% extra saving on merch, and now the beginning of a good pass perks program and some upgrades made to the VIP lounge , I went ahead and upgraded my pass to prestige again. I know many don't agree with the upgrade thinking it is a waste given the VIP areas of other parks, but I do enjoy the small benefit I am afforded by the pass. I had to pay $199 for the upgrade, but in the end I will recoup that amount almost 10x over by using the pass all year long.

KI finally released the new app version which mirrors the CP and Carowinds app version released earlier. The new app looks to be a welcome change from the previous version. Looking forward to seeing it in action on Opening Day 2024. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

These Rockstars were the true superheroes of the park. Lost in the park? they knew where that ride or food stand is located. Stuck on a ride? they were there to assist with a bottle of water or ride exit pass to help with the issue of guest services. They were around the park talking and interacting with guests making sure they have the best day ever! They helped with parades, handing out maps (when they had them) , help a family make their day by getting a front row ride, or ice cream fell off the cone, they would get you a new cone. just a great guest service department that was a great success and hopefully will return in the future.

I can see the headlines next year, saying that due to non-interest in the event as no one has talked about it in a year, we have made the decision to cancel the CoasterStock event. We will be looking into other events in the future and thank you for your support of this event these last few years.

I only did a small taste of Haunt last night of SlaughterHouse and Cavern of Terror and jump scares were good since we got there early and had idea where they were since no one was in front of us. Saw NyteWalkers show which is a great show of dancing, bicycling and trampoline tricks. I must be getting older as I thought the music was a little too loud for my liking. Yes exactly about having everyone exit the park and then reopen for Haunt. Do you have any experience with this at Carowinds on the process? These other parks also had a no re-entry policy for Haunt and now have switched over to this special event re-entry. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
