I swear I'll be mad if they call it Coney BBQ, and not something better. I may have to bug my sources within Kings Island about making it "Coney Macaroni and Smokehouse"
-
Exactly. Coney Mall is kind of the retro carny feel to me. High top circus, midways at a fair, lots of big lights and carnival barkers. I'm hoping them theme Coney Macaroni up a bit.
-
But they got the Steelers, so at least you can win that then set it on fire.
-
Maybe more props? Better projector and screen?
-
They need to put on the Midway with the other games

If you were a real baller you'd swish every shot!

It gets congested back there? I don't think I've ever seen more than like 20 people in line for WindSeeker. The area right in front of jukebox diner definitely though.
-
Timberwolf was always an odd addition to the park for me. Weird Al used to use it whenever he was in town (I never made it to the show). What is it even used for anymore? I know they do that religious music festival once a year, but what else? Surely it can't be pulling in enough money to make maintaining that whole area worth it.

Is it because black seats can get very hot in the middle of summer?
-
Brand New? or another show which will be pretty similar to a past show?
-
Clearly the flags on the trees are a confirmation they are rerouting The Bat

You gotta keep that Rolling Stones Rock Concert a private affair. I don't think the animals would appreciate it.

Who voted for Surf Dog? I will fight you! I also voted Backlot Stunt Coaster though. It's capacity is horrid for how short of a ride it is. The only real enjoyable part is just after the helicopter. From what I hear rollbacks are more common then they should.

360 camera! That would be fun

Coney Macaroni Smokehouse and Cheese. Now that I say it, "Coney Macaroni" sounds awesome
-
They do open in the "off-season" if you count the off-season as the few weeks before official open as off-season. Like King Ding Dong said, old passes transfer to the next year automatically if you renewed with them. If you want a new card, they will usually give you one for free. Technically I have used this to my advantage in the middle of the year if I lost my old card. They "owe" you a new one anyways, and they will usually do a replacement for free instead of for the fee they say is charge if you don't do it too often.

Just noticed this on the Facebook invite for gold preview. Am i reading too much into this?

There is a song about pirates that plays in kiddie land. Something about not doing anything, because we're pirates. Any guesses?

I don't wanna sound creepy, but if they are of sufficient age, us older guys don't usually mind either. But yes, i don't feel the least amount of empathy for people who wear clothing without forethought. Like people who wear short skirts to NYE parties.

They are setting fire to all of Coney Mall and starting fresh

I am hoping this small early price hike means some improvements to the food. Unlikely, but even a boost to speed would be nice. With the rate I stop by, I'd probably still buy it at 120 bucks.
-
Hmm, I guess it's early, but I am surprised there isn't any Buy-Out-Days

I went to get the buffet Friday, and just my luck they had a private party up there and it was locked off to the public. Sad goat

I'm just pointing out, just because you are diagnosed doesn't make the effects worse. It will be exactly the same thing it was before, but now you know what the cause is. It's still good to avoid it if necessary. But if you only had a mild irritation before, it will still just be a mild irritation.
-
To be fair, if you ate gluten before and didn't die, you are unlikely to just because you are diagnosed. I'm diabetic, I ate sugar before I realized it and had problems sure. I eat sugar now and have the same problems. I am just aware of the actual long term issues it can cause now instead of just "my arm gets achy and my vision is blurry, how odd". Moderation is the key to working with new dietary restrictions, if you try to drop wheat straight out, good luck. Trying to find anything in America that isn't A - Expensive, B - Hard to cook, C - Taste terrible all while not having any carbs (or wheat) in it is near impossible. On that note however, the Gluten Free Pizza at Festhaus is actually pretty dang good, though you have to wait about 15 minutes for it to cook, it is always made to order.
