  1. Haven't been to every park so some fo these are just based on looks and ride line up. California's Great America- Gold Striker, Psycho Mouse Canada's Wonderland- Behemoth, Vortex, Wonder Mountain's Guardian Carowinds- Fury 325, Nighthawk, Flying Ace Aerial Chase Cedar Point- Gatekeeper (Likely to be replaced by the new Mean Streak when it's done), Maverick, Valravn Dorney Park- Hydra the Revenge, Stinger, Possessed Kings Dominion- Avalanche, I-305, Volcano Kings Island- Banshee, Mystic Timbers, The Beast Knott's Berry Farm- Pony Express, Xcelerator, Sieera Sidewinder Michigan's Adventure- Shivering Timbers, Zach's Zoomer Valley Fair!- Wild Thing, Corckscrew World's of Fun- Spinning Dragons, Prowler
  2. That's what I was thinking to. Be good to have a seperate top for people to discuss the shed easily without spoiling it for others in the other forums.
  3. I was thinking the same thing at first too, then remembered there was a water gun game booth there.
  4. I went in 2014 on Easter which was also opening weekend with Banshee. Crowds were actually pretty low so I would expect similar. As Malem said many people have plans with family and stuff on Easter for the holiday so helps keep the crowds down.
  5. I don't think the coaster was a mistake at all, but the location/theming of it was. Should have been put in Action Zone, as it fit that theme exactly when it opened, or it should have been themed to something else. However, Paramount didn't seem to care much about theming between BLSC and TR:TR being dropped in the middle of Rivertown. The coaster as a whole is a fun ride and fits a good niche of intermediate level ride like AE.
  6. We only really see the very start of teh queue line there, and teh beginning portion of Banshee didn't really have any shading until the switchbacks either
  7. Loving the entry plaza/queue's look. Will be a great addition for that area. To really help wrap it together woudl love to see RHoFG get turned into a western/saloon themed restaurant, but know that is highy unliekly to happen.
  8. Think Pony Express could be cool. I deally if it was possible think it'd be great to jsut gut BLSC and put on Pony Express type trains with horses and landsape the area. Think it woudl make a fun ride and be different, plus with the horses/steeplechase theme and look it would fit in with both Rivertown adn Coney Mall well since it kind of sits on the border. Plus still give a good family level intermediate ride.
  9. I love The Beast and think it is a great coaster, but I can see how some people can find it dull or underwhelming with all the straight sections in it. I just love how it continually rampus up throughout the course of the ride. The speed keeps increasing after the initial hills until it reaches the second lift so makes it more unique, plus the isolation is awesome, not even corssing back by itself. And the helix finale is awesome. However, I do wish it had a bit more airtime and hills to it at times, so glad we are getting soemthing liek MT to compliment it. As for which will be better I will have to wait to ride both this summer, but I kind of feel right now liek MT might actually edge otu The Beast as the better woodie. As others stated it looks intense and fast with lots of airtime hills and directions changes of sometype for an out of control feeling. Plus the theming on it is great and the shed coudl be a topper to the ride with a great finale depending on hwo it is.
  10. I think a Sky Fly or a Sky Roller would b a great addition for X-Base actually with the flight theme. Think Flight Commanders pad would be great for an Enterprise. Imagine it'd look amazing with a nice LED package. Would like to see a Top Scan somewhere as well for a modern high thrill flat too.
  11. I think a shooting gallery would work well in Rivertown too. With the western type feel it would fit right in.
  12. I don't mean just in the sense of that's all we got, I meant just as in we received one right now. I'm very excited for MT and think it looks amazing
  13. I kind of hope for one more int he style of Intimidator since we have Diamondback for the coninuous airtime hills. But would take either. Still get a little different feel with the speed and forces of a giga compared to a hyper.
  14. I always thought a mine/haunted mine themed attraction would be great for the Crypt's location. A dark ride woudl be great too, flume or traditional. Could dip in and out of the building and have some extensions added onto it to make a larger show building. The queue line wouldn't hardly needed changed as already has a mine feel to it. Coudl either jstu be a standard mine themed story or involve a ghost town if wan to go more traditional dark ride style or a Phatnom Theatre feel. However, I almost wonder if all the theming and backstory on Mystic Timbers could be for build up of a storyline for the Rivertown area to incorporate into a Triotech dark ride.
  15. I would love a custom RMC but in that field that wants Racer to remain as a classic woodie. They gives very different ride from the others but would put it down the line some since we just got a GCI.
  16. There could also be a dark screen that will drop down to cover the entrance to the shed once the train enters. Have seen similar used on multiple coasters with drop track sections. So a similar set up could be used to block out light in the shed.
  17. Also Fury 325 has established itself now and will still have a couple seasons before KI would open one as well. So it's record being beat wouldn't really affect Fury too much. However, being able to boast tallest, fastest, etc. is great for marketing a new coaster and being people in to a new ride.
  18. Honestly im not that surprised by Boo Blasters lines. It's the only dark ride in the park and as mentioned one of few that anyone can see ride and enjoy together from little kids to grandparents. Plus being indoors and air conditioned helps when it's hot or rainy out and has people going in there. so really don't think it matters what is there it will get lines for it.
  19. I agree with SonofBaconator. I've never ridden Dominator either but I really enjoy Firehawk. It's a fun and unique ride.
  20. I alwyas felt that as well. They had a land themed to a studio backlot and then opened an attraction themed to a studio backot but didn't put it in the matching land. Know space is a bit of a premium in AZ but think it would have been a lot better if they could have found an area back there. If not and lef tit where it was wish it woudl have been rethemed to fit the surrounding area better.
  21. And honestly depending on weight of the boat and where you sit you can actually stay reasonably dry from the splash down itself. Most fo the time I tend to get more wet from the water cannons at the end than I do from the actual splash down most of the time. And agree if wanting to cool down WWC is a lot mroe fun. The drop itself is fun on Amazon Falls but the rest of teh ridde is a bit dull.
  22. I would love to see some classic flats throughout Coney Mall or around the Eiffel Tower added, and tea cups, Tilt-a-Whirl, and Enterprise are top of my list. A Music Express or Bayern Curve would be fun too. As far as Flight Commanders spot goes I think teacups would be best as it is already a raised platform, having it be a flat surface I think woudl be best. Plus with all the poles and cables they have there for their canopy and banners they coudl string up some lights over the top of them. either that or an Enterprise with an LED light package would look great in that spot as well.
  23. Thanks. I was thinking it was that year but couldn't remember exactly, figured I'd play it safe, besides one year's attendance is no indication of another's. However, I'd imagine with it being a big family holiday that it will likely be similar lwo level crowds. It was a great day to visit the park that year. I know Banshee had a long line at the start of the day but by afternoon it was even down to about 20-30 minute waits. Yea that was the biggest deterent to me with buying the drinks in years past at both KI and CP. Liked having the unlimited drinks but hated having to get a locker or try to hid eit and risk it being stolen when going to a ride without bins. Be so nice to have the wristbands for the day now when we go back. I am all for the no bins as well as it does seem to help speed up the loading process and keep lines moving quicker. And with a few exceptions, such as items for little kids you might have to bring, agree with the sentimentthat if it can't fit in your pockets it's not needed at the park. But have always thought it'd be nice if they coudl do some free lockers similar to Universal's that are good for the ride wait time and then jsut get rid of bins on all of the major attractions in the park.
  24. I went on Easter a few years ago when it was the opening weekend and the park was actually pretty low crowds so might not be too bad. The opening of a new coaster though could affect that.
  25. Think BGT would be the easiest one for them to build up to a more standard CF park/ Agree with WEstcoaster that them having something like a KBF style park in Florida would be good. There is a lot of competition in central Florida, but there's not really any parks there like CF has. They are msotly family style parks with dark rides and simulators. Just the occassional coaster. BGT is the closest thing to a CF park there and it's still only a selection of coasters and rides. That I could see something that is mroe like KI or CP doing well with residents at least. Might not get the big visitor draw and be real competition on a national market compared to Disney and Universal but people in the region might like it for something with more thrill rides adn big coasters, and doesn't cost $100s for annual passes. My only worry with them actually getting BGT would be the animals and the likelihod that they'd stay. I imagine they'd probably get ride o them to allow more room for expansions and less upkeep worries and maintenance.
