I was taught when I was in my first management position it was my responsibility to handle things correctly and take ownership when my staff was at fault. Throwing them under the bus so to speak was not acceptable. Ed and management of Kentucky Kingdom should own up and say we messed up. That's far more commendable than blaming others. Train better, management needs to conduct themselves better (an employee will never perform at a higher level than those above them. In fact, employee behavior often mocks managements behavior). I am happy to report in my current position I am not in management.

I breast fed my daughter in public numerous times, including KK, KI, SeaWorld Ohio and never once had a problem. I never fed her in a restroom. I was discrete, covered up and not sitting in a major walk through. As a mom, it was my time to take a few minutes to rest and not make us a public spectacle. I do believe KK handled the situation wrong. I think the woman was either just in a bad mood or had an agenda from the get go. I would guess the latter since nothing seems to make her happy.

So that's what love is like.

Is it sad as soon as I read her question i knew the two who would respond with opposite routes?

Make sure next time you see him in the park you add "the" in front of every thing that does not have the in front of it, and everything that does have "the" in front of it take it out just to see his reaction.

Great trip report. The weekend of July 4, we did Dorney, SFAm, SGFadv, KD and Carowinds. It was an excellent time to hit these parks! Thanks for sharing.
-
That simply looks amazing.
-
Presuming the park is packed today, but out of curiosity, if you're there, how crowded is Kings Island today?
-
Someone may have to change this for me so it will play correctly, but I took this last night at Kings Island.

I love top spins. The sad thing is the lack of spinning on so many. I would be very sad if they became Vomitrons.

Don't you look cute in your mask! So adorable. Thank you for being willing to go to the homeless shelter and helping. My family has been impacted twice by having homeless family members. I truly cannot describe what it feels like knowing a loved one is homeless. My paternal grandma was an alcoholic and lived on the streets of Chicago and New York City. She was nicknamed "Rat Lady" because she had very long hair that she wore up in a bun that was a knotted, ratted mess. She was murdered over a bottle of wine in 1979. Late last year, my oldest nephew spent time living on the streets of Indianapolis. He spent time in some shelters too. My nephew is now in Mississippi and in the Job Corp. I have a friend that runs a shelter in Indianapolis and have two friends that got a new lease on life by going into that shelter. It's been wonderful seeing how far both men have came. A homeless shelter does such amazing work. It's a true labor of love. Sorry to hijack your trip report, but knowing you, I thought you would like to know how much I appreciate you and your willingness to help. It's people like you who will give hope to someone that's truly down on their luck.

From experience, fry the crow before eating it. It just tastes a little better.

I am probably going to get dinged for not citing the source, but I truly cannot recall who told me, that the issue with having longer belts on every seat would create at times too much weight on the coaster and added wear as well if it happened consistently.
-
To my knowledge the seats are not bigger. The difference is the seat belt is longer.

We were there July 4th weekend. The park was not super busy. I 305 and Volcano, The Blast Coaster had longer lines, but worth waiting for. I highly suggest riding I 305 in the front. I did not enjoy it as much in the back row. Avalanche is a lot of fun. Boo Blasters on Boo Hill is excellent. Everything including guns work. Shockwave is probably my favorite stand up coaster. Don't miss riding The Crypt.

Great report. It's funny how you were experiencing a hot day there. We were there on July 4 and it was raining upon arrival (Hurricane Arthur related I was told) and we were wearing jackets. We experienced the same low crowds, too. However, I did not really notice any kind of poor customer service.
-
Impressive pics. The day we were there it was raining and had thought that the way Talon's path way would allow great pics - glad you caught them.

1. Banshee 2. Afterburn 3. Patriot 4. Talon 5. Batman: The Ride Six Flags St. Louis 6 Batman: The Ride Six Flags Great Adventure 7. Raptor I will say Afterburn, Patriot and Talon are all a virtual tie. I liked them all equally and listed them alphabetic.

I have gone back and forth between which park I like better between NJFTP and KD. about the time I think I can pick on over the other I remember something equally great about the other park. I wish you woulda rode Ka. It was fun. I get the eye protection though. It was hard keeping eyes open when you're going so fast. We need to make a return though. Soon. We also need to get you all to Waldameer. You'd love it. .

I have 19 kids if Katie has 18 brothers and sisters. I struggle keeping Cody and Katie and Chloe (my doggie) names straight. How am I going to remember 17 more names? When I struggle with their names I am gently reminded (normally by Cody) "Male Child" or "Female Child" followed by "you know I am talking to you!"

I was not upset Stinger at Dorney was not running while we were there.

"Cirque Imagine" at Kings Island!

The original Neko was injured during the seesaw/catapult routine maybe 5-6 weeks ago.
