People in this country tend to be way too uptight about things. Some of the stuff I've seen in videos of European parks really proves that.

Thank you for understanding. We looked forward to this as well as the Holiday World event they put on. Some things are more important though. Sounds like we are taking the year off from parks next year.

I most likely will not be able to attend since the new little one will arrive mid April.

I liked going to the reptile show there. Oo well.

People are pretty overly sensitive about these things. You can't please everyone so why try? If there are few that don't like what's going on don't put yourself in that situation and leave the many that enjoy there to enjoy it.

I like the idea but not the ride so I will not be taking part.

You and I are on opposite ends of the spectrum and it's interesting to hear others opinions. I liked Carowinds least of all parks I have been to. Afterburn was the best ride there and even then it was only a little above average. Everything else was mediocre. Fury 325 looks great but I'm still not interested in rushing back to the park to ride it just because I know I don't really enjoy the rest of the park.

I think its a new credit because it turns it into a different style coaster where The Beast and Racer examples didnt change the style of coaster.

I would not count it as a new credit. You could say the same thing about The Beast with 4 row cars and now converted into 3 row cars. Is it a new credit? That's completely different to me. While it may be the same layout you're putting an entirely new train on the track that will change the ride experience. With The Beast the change doesn't really mess with ride experience.

Did you really leave the park because you saw someone being detained without knowing why?

Thank goodness they are converting Mantis. The ride had become junk.

I have been on DT in the rain both during the day and at night. It is indeed cool dropping with the rain. Even more so at night with the bright lights shining up.

I think this became a story more so because they tried to say the mom was lying even though she had proof of him rising in previous years. I think every one needs to understand and most here especially do that it is a safety issue. That though doesn't excuse poor treatment if what this lady is saying is true about the situation.

I was happy to see the video. I never thought the ride was that special. It surprises me at times to see the love people have for it on here. To each his own.

I don't care what they do to the ride as long as they take a not good ride and make it something worth riding.

I would rather have a coaster that is good than have a bad coaster just for the sake of tradition.
