Holiday World will not beat Son of Beast's records. I believe that Six Flags Great Adventure will be the one going for that next year with the Intamin plug-n-play woodie. To me, since HW's is going to be a hybrid, then it can't take away The Beast's record.

This has been discussed, however, I'm not sure we knew what the company names would be. It really doesn't affect PKI one way or the other.

My unlce has some 8MM on-ride footage of The Racers. You know, long before that kind of thing was outlawed. My guess would be early '80's.

I completely understand what he is saying. I would rather wait three hours for TTD, which is short, but very thrilling as opposed to a one hour wait for a mediocre coaster with little to no thrills. He also mentioned Millennium Force which is not short at all and much more thrilling than IJ:ST.

I don't see the point in closing this topic. If you read the thread, you can clearly see we are not discussing accidents at PKI.

That doesn't mean it was safe before someone was thrown from the ride. It just means that several other people were lucky that they were not injured.

Yeah, the new coaster Italian Job:Stunt Track is what is different. I usually start at the back of the park and work forward.

I think I wouldn't wait more than 20 mins. The best parts to me are the helix and launch after the helicopter.

Other than special events like Boddah mentioned, the weekdays are usually slower.

I voted for The Beast crew when in all reality, all of them are great. My experiences with the employees this year has convinced me that they have the best park employees anywhere, bar none.

"PKI (or Carowinds, since it's on their list) = (Awesome) Theme Park" Most of the general public, including reporters, don't think of PKI as a theme park. Disney and Universal are what they are talking about. PKI is still an amusement park with a few themed rides. Six Flags has as many themes as PKI and they are still an amusement park. So PKI & CP = Amusement Park Disney, MGM, Universal = Theme Parks There's a HUGE difference.

I agree except about the train. It's really just to get people from the park to the water park and back. It serves its' purpose.

Try reading instead of skimming over people's post before you open your mouth and put your foot in it. Gulliver, nobody cares if YOU don't want a hyper coaster. A lot of other people do. So take your own advice and quit repeating yourself. And as I said before, PKI has ALWAYS catered to families.
