Joker, that is not true. It's not the TTD T-bar that is questionable. It's the one on Millennium Force that was similar to the Superman coaster at Six Flags. For all you know, Six Flags Great Adventure may have requested OTSR's in light of what happened at one of their other parks. TTD was a better version of the lap bar.

Intamin does make wood coaster trains, however, I'm not sure that they would work on SOB. I kinda think they would or could do something with their hyper and giga trains to work on a woodie. Here's a link to Intamin Wood Trains. You have to scroll down the page a little.

No, it's not PKI related. Kingda Ka is in Six Flags New Jersey (hence the other parks), not at PKI. That silly Intamin rumor has been going around now for a few seasons.

Hmmmm. Funny. The title of your thread is SOB getting Intamin trains in '06. Then, your post says SOB getting new trains followed by an Intamin coaster. Are they supposed to be getting an Intamin coaster or Intamin trains for SOB? Or, is it both? Whatever the case, I find it hard to believe.

People think it's a joke, but the government is taking a serious look at salt and how it affects everyone. So, be prepared for the ban on salt intake.

Well, first, there would have to be a good return on investment for making such a change to the cars. In other words, if ridership will not be affected, then there's no reason to change it. By the time that they would change this WAY down the road, no one will even care by then. I'm not sure anyone cares now, let alone 5-10 years down the road.

Although I grew up on PKI, I now like CP better. Better overall choice of coasters. To me, the only coasters of PKI that rank over CP's are The Beast over Mean Streak and Top Gun over Iron Dragon. I would give the edge to Adventure Express over Cedar Creek Mine Ride for the theming that AE has. I am not including IJ:ST because I have yet to ride it. I keep hearing that PKI is a family park, but their recent additions suggest otherwise...meaning TR:TR, Delirium and IJ:ST are all thrill rides, not family rides. A true family ride is one where everyone from mom and dad, sister and brother and even grandparents can enjoy and there are not that many rides that fit that description at PKI.

I just want to know one thing...who here said that PKI is cheap? I don't recall reading a single thread and someone saying that they are cheap. Just so you know CoasterXtreme, PKIC frowns upon the use of multiple smileys. It slows down loading time for those on a basic internet connection. It's also a part of the terms of sevice. I'm not trying to bust on you, just trying to help you to avoid the mods, not that they are bad people.

I would like to see a new are open. However, if they were to create an entire new area, it would require a lot of capital spending to fill the area with rides, games, food, bathrooms, etc.

I have heard that they are having problems with IJ:ST and that's why it is running slow. Can't say for sure though.

Actually, someone on here mentioned re-theming FOF to War of the Worlds. To me, that would be a better idea than the MTV Soudwave.
