Really, after you have been through it once, what's the point in going again. I'm with the starter of this thread and I say, tear it down. Put a Jump2 in its' place.

The Bat wasn't really beyond repair, it was poorly designed. There were no banking curves which lead to the shocks being constantly worn out.

I guess you'll just have to go and take your chances, at least early on. I'm gonna wait until May.

I don't think you will see an Intamin impulse at PKI. Face/Off is way too similar a ride. As far as I know, S&S does not have a coaster like Dragster. They do have two launched coasters in existence, though. Like hypersonic xlc and Dodonpa, located in Japan.

I believe that it is supposed to have a soft opening in April.

^I heard that the bumping will be done with pneumatic shocks. The cars are also suppossed to fish tail too.

Elmer Fudd, not only do I remember The Bat, I rode it. That had to be the best suspended coaster ever!

What I miss is all of the old Hannah Barberra characters running around the park. Rides I really miss are the Bavarian Beetle, Rotor, and Bayern Curve.

I go to ride it once. It was a unique experience. It was great to have control over the barrel rolls. My uncle just kept us spinning the whole time. The entrance was cool as well, the way it came up from underneath.

^I don't agree that the water park would be made a separate admission. Geauga Lake does not have a separate admission, so why would they change King's Island?

Looks like they found a winner. Although not as tall as your typical Drop Tower, I think it's a good addition and will fit in well.

Yes, Mr. Six is really Miss Six. It is a younger woman in the outfit. Although I think it is funny, PKI doesn't really need anything like that. SF came up with Mr. Six to try and boost attendance because they are desparate, at least at some of their parks. Until they improve their overall experience, including better trained employess and a better atmosphere, they will always have these problems.

Sorry, but PKI will never be the Disney of the midwest. PKI does not have that kind of capital spending and they are seasonal only. They could never take in the kind of money that Disney does.

For sure, I will be visiting PKI, CP, and GL. I'm thinking about heading over to Pennsylvania for Dorney Park and Hydra: The Revenge.

And, since Sheikra is 200 plus feet, doesn't that make it a hypercoaster? Many people also speculated that Gerstlauer would be the ones to do the Addams Family vertical coaster. Let's hope that PKI doesn't remove anything. I would rather see them open up a new area then remove any ride.

^I agree. Scooby is about the only HB characer left that the younger generations even recognize. Go ahead and ask them who Hong Kong Phooey is. They wouldn't know.

^Seems to me Ben has been here considerably longer. He has several more posts. Anyway, the girl might have been frightened. Plausible reason. This will have no affect of whether or not PKI is family friendly. That completely makes no sense at all.
