Thats Dr. Helbig to you. Would you absolutely die if it was in fact named Beast Slayer?
-
It does sound like better news. Well, here's to hoping that the situtation gets turned around. I know there are some who don't look upon 6F favorably, but I think we can all agree that if this chain would tank, it would not be in the best interest of us enthusiasts.
-
And that name was.... Rider...that was hilarious! It's going to be Helbig!

Glad to hear that you had a great time! Skyhawk is my second favorite flat ride next to maXair. I'd love to catch the BMX show.
-
I would guess that maybe a lot of people just rounded it up to 60mph.

Hard Rock - news not so good

So, downtown Myrtle is no longer happenin'? My, how times have changed. I guess I'll know from here on out to stay in North Myrtle. I would like to see HRP make it. However, with that kind of gate price, no one is going to come beating down their doors. -
You'd actually be surprised how far emails, calls, and letters get you with Kings Island. EVERY email that is received with GR feedback is documented along with the park representative's response. Emails are taken seriously and responded to within 24-48 hours. If a guest leaves a phone number, they'll more than likely be called within that time period as well. All complaints made to the 800 number are documented on a shift report and reviewed by management daily. Many people have even been contacted who posted negative things on this web site. People are usually not only happy with the fact that the park responds to their concerns, but also that their concerns are taken seriously. So by all means, drop them an email, call the park directly at 1-800-288-0808, or stop by GR if you have any comments or concerns. They will be heard. Ryan My experience with emails and KI did not go well at all. I tried to contact season pass sales and they never have responded. I was hoping to work something out since my wife got pregnant and we can go, just can't ride a whole lot and we would now be going less times. I can understand if their policy says something to the effect of, well tough. But, no respones whatsoever. At least they could do is contact me and tell me something...even if there's nothing they could do about it.

Even though it hasn't opened yet, I am already hearing grumblings about it being red. Now, you open the new ride which is red, repaint the FOC red, you have Firehawk which is a shade of red, then there would be three total. Not that I really care, as long as the coaster is kick butt.

i wuz in the parking lot and my friend's mom sed she definitely saw something fall off the Son of Beast and it was too big to be a hat. I also saw something fall The train split? That's hilarious! I can almost guarantee whatever fell off of SOB was not a person, if that's what you are insinuating.
-
No, not red. Then, you'll have some on here complaining that KI has too many red coasters...oh wait, they already are.

Don't tell pawpaw he is too old . (Link to elder gentleman riding the Voyage at HW) RCfreak, you beat me to it.

I would think that it wouldn't be as busy considering Cleveland Clinic was there. Have a great time and give us a nice TR. FF EKU dawg 4 life, you got some really interesting (and great) pics of Dragster, MF, and Raptor.
-
I know what you mean. I hate it when people call me sir. I always politely tell them I'm not old enough to be a sir. I remember reading somewhere that there were several "older" folks driving to Cedar Point when Top Thrill Dragster opened.

Dorney Park Laser SOLD

All I've heard, Ronny, is some specualtion that it will go to HW. There is a thread over at coasterbuzz that discusses some new markers at HW. Supposedly, some patrons have been asking for a steel looping coaster and some say it may find it's way there. I don't know of any solid evidence. -

Isn't it obvious that he just pulled them out of Jerry's audience? -

Um, no, it's the rumored underground coaster coming in 2010. Gotta start work real early considering it will be the first underground launched coaster. -

Looks like CF is wanting over 110 million for a buyout by the 49ers. Link -
At least it's not $4 a gallon ... yet :)

Yes, but Europe has a completely different tax code and it's not really comparable to what's going on here in the U.S. Their tax on gas pays for more than just the costs to pay for the oil and refinement. -
I'm pretty sure only one person died on Flight Commander. The Bat story doesn't sound likely either. The coaster would have had anti-rollbacks and unless they failed, the train wouldn't come back into the station quickly, if at all.
-
You had my hopes up for a minute there, Terpy. I think Ride Sally Ride is the clue that was meant to throw everyone off. It could be just referring to riding the coaster and nothing more.
-
Great TR, Ronny! Looks like I need to be there to truly appreciate the aircraft. However, you did an excellent job with the pics!

Your welcome, bag of water and vinegar. I can give my opinion any time I please.
