  1. But, keeping your bracelet and using it on another trip IS stealing.
  2. I can't believe I didn't notice this trip report before. I guess I'm not used to TR's getting stickied in here, but I have to solidly agree that this is the best ever. A lot of great photos and video to boot. I am also hoping that one day, I will meet some people from here, including yourself. Maybe at a future KIC event.
  3. Thanks, Mr. Area Food Manager, for clearing that up? How do you know it was figured in? So, you plan on stealing then next time, right?
  4. Where are those 700,000 people when you need them?
  5. Definitely, Thrill Biscuit! I just love the response, look the other way.
  6. Maybe you're right. But, I did read several trip reports on other sites that made the claim that SFGADV had a bad rep as far as trouble with patrons is concerned.
  7. I personally wouldn't mind coaster installations being spread out more. After TTD, I haven't seen that many new innovations that really warrant building every other year. I think if we didn't see a new coaster for 3 years at any given CF park, attendance wouldn't drop as long as they are committed to making a better experience. And installing other family friendly attractions and flat rides coupled with improvements in entertainment and food.
  8. I went with a friend one year on a Thursday. We got 17 rides (just coasters) the whole day. I thought we were finishing the day with Son of Beast (before the new trains and removal of the loop). After that, he wanted to ride Invertigo (Face/Off) one more time. I told him that if I got a brain hemorrage, he had to drive home.
  9. Nice update on the construction area.

Pretty cool, man! Never knew that there were human powered rides such as those. Looks like a great day. I may have to go to a ren. festival and give it a whirl.
  11. I knew the answer man would know!
  12. I still don't get a third person running against the two main candidates. Realistically, a vote for the third is throwing away your vote. Maybe it's time to invest in SF. I would like to think that things will not remain the same.
  13. Great story. He may have a future in the construction/amusement/designing industry.
  14. Sounds like a good idea...and I would buy one for me and the mrs. Is there a time limit on this? Example: Will the deal end sometime this summer? Or, will it be available during Halloween Haunt?

1971. Never been on any of these coasters. My score = 0.
  16. Why expect it from New Jersey? I go there often and find it to be as safe, if not safer, as most areas in the country. I thought you would have picked up on my hidden reference to the SFGADV of old. Just a jab.
  17. #1The Antique Cars. Others worth mentioning IMO: KCKC Tumblebug Bavarian Beetle Enchanted Voyage Bayern Curve Phantom Theatre Der Spinnin' Keggers
  18. Yes, misting fans please. More shade in queue lines too.
  19. a. Park chains sign such deals, not individual parks that are part of a chain. There would be no advantage for them to do so. b. If a contract had been signed with B & M, Firehawk would certainly have nothing to do with it, being neither B & M nor new.... You got me on the "new" part, but I don't believe that lil lynn's rumor stated anything about all 3 rides having to be B&M. Then what kind of contract could involve more than one company? That just doesn't make sense. If you're going to contract for three rides or coasters, they would be from the same company. Otherwise, if other companies are involved, it would be done on a contract by contract basis. I highly doubt you would have more than one company on the same contract.
  20. No offense to the developers, but you would think that they would know better than to not have all of the permits necessary to go forward with the project.
  21. So true...paranoid America. When I was at Daytona recently with my wife, the place we stayed in had a lot of families there. Granted, there were some just couples, but mostly families. Well, I kinda got the feeling that some were thinking that we were perverts because we were watching children playing, kinda thinking about what it's going to be like next time we're there after our baby is born. Maybe my feeling was wrong, but, usually when I get gut feelings about something, it's usually correct. No one ever said anything, but, some of the looks were...funny...but not funny ha ha. As a matter of fact, some of the pics I took had children in them, but how can that be helped when there's people everywhere.
  22. My first guess: $3.4 million might have something to do with it. That is a BIG undertaking. Nice pics and article Ronnie! Let's just say hurdle after hurdle after hurdle... Sounds like legal issues. I'm sure glad that the monorail has found a new home. Where, exactly, is Jungle Jim's?
  23. Yes, biblically, it is wrong. However, as I stated before, God hates the sin, not the sinner. Let's not allow this to turn into a religious debate. If you don't like it or are indifferent, then why does it even interest you to post in this thread? I would think that this subject would be of no concern to you unless you came in to stir the pot.
  24. From what I have read, InBev has no interest in keeping the amusement parks. Maybe someone else besides CF or SF could buy them.
