If not adding a Ferris Wheel to Coney Mall, maybe KI could add it to International Street? I don't believe a new ride has been added and taken out since the park opened in that area, and it could be put on the empty plot of land across from the Grand Carousel, on one side you have the Carousel on the other the Ferris Wheel, it would look nice at night!

Yes I printed it. I must have misread it about the all Season preferred parking option, I don't see it either as an option now. Thanks

Do they send the gold pass in the mail or do I pick it up at the park? Another question, I was thinking about getting preferred parking added but didn't, now I wished that I did! Can I still add it for both this year and next year? Thanks lol.

Just bought my first ever gold season pass, anyone else new or has everyone else bought theirs for next year already?

Kings Mills Antique Autos Path Discussion
Imperial79 replied to sixohdieselrage's topic in Coming Attractions
Okay, looking at Valleyfair’s Route 76 car ride they added in 2014, it’s 1,500 ft long, our Antique Cars are 1,320 ft long, so a little bit shorter but not much, and from pictures online plus Google Earth it looks like theirs is very nicely landscaped, and they have a fountain, we’re going to have all that and a bridge! -
Is the Killmart building going to be torn down and the cars going there as well?

What Else Do You Want To Come Back?
Imperial79 replied to SonofBaconator's topic in Coming Attractions
Skyride, Wheel of Fortune type of ride, floral style bushes along the Royal Fountain. -
And it doesn't say "Outpost 5", it says "Number 5"', its not the same thing... People took little pieces of Easter eggs like the wood at the grave (been there for many months), KI posting The Racer and The Beast on their social media to celebrate national roller coaster day, sightings of Fred Grubb, Don posting about his favorite coaster around the same time (he does that), etc, ect, to make the announcement about a new rmc sob, when the park said those teasers have nothing to do with KI. The teasers are for Cedar Point or other parks, and even during the announcement, they said it was about something that happened in 2004. Its not the parks fault, fans just got carried away...

^I was thinking about what area of the park it would be nice to add a fountain or something similar, looked at Google Earth and the only place that doesn't really have anything is Coney Mall. A few days later we have the 2019 Antique Car's returning, with nice landscaping, water features and a bridge and more!!! It sounds like Kings Island is going to try and make the new car ride as close to Les Taxis as they can, I think we're in for a treat!

Cedar Fair Posters with Easter Eggs
Imperial79 replied to Bwb.32's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
Looking back reading through this thread, this turned out to be very true!!! -
I think from the wording that Mike Koontz said, it being 'alongside The Racer and across the Jutebox Diner', sounds like it being just on one side of The Racer. I wonder how much land though? That whole side from Dinosaurs Alive entrance to where the empty building that's only used for Halloween Haunt possibly? If so they have plenty of room, and that'll be a good sized Antique Car ride. I hope we'll see some drawings soon of what it will look like.

Cedar Fair Posters with Easter Eggs

So has someone lost control of this? The news is talking about it, but they did say it was just rumors for now, so if anyone's let down for next year (no new roller coaster), they can't blame the park, they've already commented on it once, should they have to do it again? -
KI lets slip plans for 2019 exist on IG today?
Imperial79 replied to BruceWayneWins's topic in Kings Island
Do you think Kings Island has done a good job the past 4 years on what they've added and updated? I do think KI has lost some of its wow factor, losing Les Taxis, The Flying Eagles, Phantom Theater, Oktoberfest Ferris Wheel, bigger log flume, theming and landscaping. I know it must be a pain for the park, when people look back and see what's gone and then compare it to today. They have brought some of these things back, classic music on I-Street, Winterfest and Peanuts Celebration (not brought back but still new) and more landscaping this year around the park. I feel like from what Mike Knootz said at Coasterstock, they'll work on Coney Mall some more with maybe a new flat ride, and hopefully on making International Street more beautiful again like it was around 2000, and here's wishing they don't cut anymore of the branches off the tree's near the Royal Fountain, the shade is half gone now... -

Maybe if what is true (is it?) that if the flyers down at Carowinds can't get its permits okayed for next year either, then we can hope for the return of The Flying Eagles brought back to KI? It's probably a long shot. Or they could put in a Wheel of Fortune type ride there. -
Coney Mall sign and if its ever going to return and where its at?

Going through the forum and I found this thread about attendance, and @Shaggy and other's talking about the 1998 attendance for the park and how good it was, and the Amusement Business Magazine estimated it to be at 3.6, and KI had one of their best years in 2017 and compared it to the record of 1998. Here's the thread. So was 2017 a lot better then what TEA numbers estimated?

No new ride/s this year, they could have announced the new Lights and Fireworks show along with Coney BBQ and might have generated excitement with that but it didn't happen so we'll never know.. Would it be better to try and announce something, even if its no new ride and have guests say, "Well I wanted a ride this year"! We just came off of 4 years of always having something new, and the parks attendance has continued to go up for the past 10 years. How many years can it go up and then finally guests take a little break? This year maybe? Maybe it's the heat, and more parks around the nation are staying open longer, leading some to wait till later in the year since they have more time to visit the parks?
