Well with the antiques and flyers being moved to make room for IJST, which would you rather have?

I'd have to say although I loved the antiques and flyers, I still would rather have IJST, but if IJSt's theming goes down hill i think i'd rather have the flyers and antiques back

I cannot believe the park is getting rid of the flyers, but I would rather have IJ:ST. It is time for PKI's new coaster!

I take the old fashion cars and flyer any day over a lame coaster in the middle of the park. Their is more room in Coney Mall for a coaster and get to keep the rides. Plus the Flyers don't take up that much room at all. Get ride of Laster tag that thing is 10 years old who plays laster tag any more?????

Well, come April or May, most of ya'll will be amazed with TIJ:ST coaster that you will forget about the Flyers and Antiques. Trust me, that is what happened with BORG.

Flyers. Even though IJ:ST is cool, the flyers are classic. THEY WERE MY FIRST RIDE AT PKI!!!!!!!!!!!Same with the cars, there a CLASSIC!!!

I dont see why you guys are bashing the park. Honestly it was just a easy buisness move to make. Most of you never even talked about riding this thing. I lame thing that goes around in circles or a coaster. People come to the park for the coasters not the Fliers.

I agree, and I would choose IJST over the Antiques and flyers any day!

I will be sad to see the flyers go, but thank God the tiques are gone...they will not be missed, at ALL! :jerry: Welcome IJ:ST.

What if the park would have gotten Addams Family? Then what? NOT EVERONE WILL BE HAPPY. I have a feeling the same thing would have happened. People saying,"I wish we would have gotten AF instead of IJ:ST," or crap like that. NOT EVERONE WILL BE HAPPY. What if the park would not add anything next year. People would be mad because there is not going to be a new ride. While others would be happy if we kept the tiques and flyers. It is time for change. Life goes on. NOT EVERONE WILL BE HAPPY. Just my two cents.

If they put IJ:ST where they did, then what makes you think they would have put the Adam's Family Coaster in a different spot?

I think If PKI did go with the Addams Family rollercoaster they would have placed it behind FOF and toward this years Haunted Trail.

The park is, and has always been, in the shape of a wheel. I think the main reason why they're removing rides in favor of others is so that they don't break that form. The only exception to this is the back end of Action Zone, which is probably the most crowded area of the park, so the theory is sound.

Plus I found out the if you goto Carowinds next year to ride the Flyers you can no long snap them. They will be in the child part of the park.

FoF I am not trying to pick on you, so please do not take this the wrong way...

Since I have been on PKIC there have been numerous opinions on which direction PKI is going. Thrill park, family park etc., and the bashing of a certain northern Ohio park is ALWAYS brought up, and unfortunatly ends up in a PKI vs. ?? (insert that northern park here). So now PKI is taking away one of the more popular flats it has, and in it's place, a thrill ride. I find it funny that some now seem to believe that people come to the park for coasters.

I do believe that PKI should expand by putting in more themed rides (i.e. IJ), and I do think that it is a good move that it is a coaster, but not at the price of a popular flat. CP has moved many flat over the years for coasters, and there is no good reason that PKI could not do the same. PKI has enough room. If it is a maintenance nightmare, it would not be going to another Paramount park, that same theory goes with the "snapping" vs. safety issue. And many guests like it. I find it disappointing that PKI has not come out with a better reason.

Oh well, I wanted a new coaster, and I got it.

Italian Job is not really for thrill seekers. Going 40 mph is hardly thrilling.

If its not thrilling then what is the point? I mean i had fun on the flyers and found a good snap pretty thrilling.

I'm just saying that it won't be thrilling as far as break neck speeds or heights. Otherwise, I think the special defects will be what is thrilling about this ride.

I will miss the anitques and the flyers were part of Cincys amusement park history for you fans is a bummer but I cannot wait to ride the IJST it looks like a blast to ride I CANNOT wait til Spring and Summer 2005!!!!!

I cant wait til spring 2005 because this winter is gonna be long and cold!

I can't wait till spring of 05 cause that is when I graduate from school and will be getting 18 more coasters are my ride list.

This will be another PKI landmark, im hoping they will have travel channel there to review the ride and film it
